Job Overview
As a Senior Manager for a Project Management Unit (PMU) at Dhwani Rural Information Systems, you will lead the seamless management of our client’s projects, specifically their pan-India Disaster Relief program. Serving as the pivotal link between the client and our internal teams, you will lead the execution and contribute to strategy to achieve program goals. Your role spans understanding the client’s vision and goals, the program’s nuances, managing internal and external stakeholders, innovating and scaling program design and operations, and steering software solution discussions if required and.
You will be reporting to the Engagement Manager of the PMU, lead a team of 2-3 members, and work with a team of 10+ peers. Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in any field is required; Masters, another advanced degree, or certification in related fields (Business Administration, Public Policy, Management, or Development) is preferred.
In addition to this, preference will be given to candidates with MBA, PGDM in Rural Management or Public Policy from IRMA, APU, IIFM, XIMB, TISS, IIHMR or fellowship from YIF, Anubhav Lecture Series, India Fellow, LAMP Fellow, CMGGA Fellow, GGI Fellow Indian School of Public Policy, Gandhi, Teach for India, Genpact Fellowship
Experience:
6-8 years of extensive experience in consulting and/or program management, overseeing complex initiatives from initiation to completion.
