Position:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Communications Intern to join our Community Radio (Radio Bundelkhand) team.

This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in communications, media, and social and behaviour change communication to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and social impact-driven environment.

Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (communications, media studies, journalism, etc.) or a recent graduate.

Duration: This is a 3-month internship, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organisational needs.

  • Interest in community radio and enthusiasm for strengthening people’s participation in development programmes through community radio.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (non-negotiable) and Hindi.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Enthusiasm for reading and acquiring knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Create and curate content (promotional materials, newsletters, press releases, etc.) for different media platforms, especially social media.
  • Implement and monitor social media strategies to increase our online presence and audience engagement.
  • Design, develop, and update training programmes.
  • Create and curate audio and audio-visual content (podcasts, videos) for Radio Bundelkhand.
  • Collaborate with team members to highlight success stories, initiatives, and events related to Radio Bundelkhand.
  • Assist the Community Radio team in operational activities as and when necessary.
