Till date, we have reached out to more than 2,70,000 children, given vocational training to 9,700 adults and helped form more than 1,000 Self Help Groups with 11,000 women who have together saved Rs.408 million with a community revolving fund of Rs.1053 million. Apart from operating programmes in Delhi, U.P., Uttarakhand and Haryana, we also collaborate with the government and with other agencies to make meaningful intervention in the policy making process of the State.

House Mother for Deepalaya Children’s Home,Gusbethi, Haryana (Residential Position)

Department: Gusbethi, Haryana

Responsibilities:

1. Handling Juvenile or child with love and affection

2. Taking proper care and welfare of Juvenile or child

3. Maintaining discipline among the juveniles or children

4. Implementing daily routine in an effective manner and ensuring children’s involvement

5. Administrative role and responsibilities

6. Observe the different behaviors of students and inform the concern persons

7. Escorting juveniles or children, whenever they go out of the children’s home

8. Looking after the security and safety arrangements of the home

Requirements:

• Good communication skills to deal with children.
• Good coordination with team member.
• Good observation skills.
• Understanding of child needs.
• Understanding of Different Acts and Govt. Schemes for children
• Able to take care of children with love and affection

Qualification

• Graduate in Social Work (BSW/MSW)
• Knowledge of Hindi upto Matriculation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of child welfare/social welfare /Education
