1. Content Creator

Job Description
Creador Foundation is currently seeking talented and creative Financial Content Creators to collaborate closely with the Program Manager and other team members in developing and producing engaging financial education content.

The Content Creator will be responsible for producing content which will be published in various formats including videos, podcasts, infographics, social media posts. This role requires strong research skills, understanding of financial concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex information into easily digestible content. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving financial literacy rates in India and have experience in content creation, preferably within the finance or education sectors. The selected candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package alongside other benefits. The selected candidate will be based out of the Foundation’s office in Mumbai, India.

The content creator will

Conduct independent primary and secondary research to gather accurate information/data on topics related to finance topics. This includes being proactive in conducting surveys/interviews, interacting with subject matter experts & relevant institutions to collect information for creating content

  • Understand the financial education needs of the target audience and come up with new content ideas
  • Analyze complex financial information and distill it into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content for the target audience
  • Optimize content for various platforms and formats by incorporating storytelling and visual elements to enhance the impact and engagement of the content. This can include diversifying the formats of content created (step-by-step guides, activities, quizzes, video scripts etc.) and incorporating interactive and engaging elements within the content (e.g. humour)
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers to enhance the visual and interactive elements of the content
  • Implement best practices for search engine optimization (SEO), metadata, and keyword optimization to improve content visibility
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Incorporate feedback from multiple review sessions with different parties and from focus group testings with communities to refine and improve on the content designed
  • Stay updated with the latest industry developments and emerging trends in financial education to incorporate into content creation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in finance, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to conduct thorough primary research on ground with users and synthesize information from reliable sources.
  • Good understanding of social issues in India especially concerning the low income group
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills in English, with similar skills in Hindi with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Creative mindset and ability to think innovatively to engage and educate the target audience.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and trends, and experience in creating content for social media channels is a plus
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple, competing time and resource demands

2. Motion Graphics Associate

Creador Foundation is working to empower local communities in South & Southeast Asia. In India, we work on providing financial education to women from low and lower-middle-income groups to empower them in taking part in financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the design and content teams to create visually stunning motion graphics and animations that effectively communicate the Creador Foundation’s mission and initiatives.

2. Utilize your expertise in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro to design and develop eye-catching graphics for various marketing and communication channels.

3. Take ownership of video editing projects, ensuring high-quality output and seamless integration of graphics, animations, and other visual elements.

4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in motion graphics and animation, continuously improving your skills and incorporating innovative ideas into your work.

5. Work closely with the Lead to create engaging videos for social media platforms, increasing brand visibility and user engagement.

6. Collaborate with the content team to storyboard, script, and create captivating explainer videos and visual presentations that effectively convey complex concepts.

7. Assist in the production of video content for events, and promotional campaigns, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across all marketing materials.

8. Plan, set up, and gather raw video footage for social media, content, and documentation at field visits and events

9. Source suitable stock music and footage

10. Editing the videos post-production: sound editing, inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video in coordination with designers.

12. Assist in the production of podcasts, Facebook Live, etc.

Requirements

1. Candidates with minimum 1-3 years of experience.

2. Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pr /Windows Movie Maker, Vyond, etc. with demonstrated skills in Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop

3. A sound understanding of the Adobe Suite will be preferred
