CORO INDIA Over the last three decades, CORO has developed a community-based approach to facilitating change from within India’s most marginalised and oppressed.

Mission – We work to build a world based on equality and social justice by working with the most marginalized communities on facilitating leadership from within these communities to steer rights (entitlements) based, collective actions for social change.
The Training Manager will bear overall responsibility for design, development and delivery of Training programmes, workshops and team capacity building workshops mainly for the GLDP (Grassroots Leadership Development Programme) and provide strategic support to other programmes of CORO India
Location: Mumbai
Key responsibilities
- Working with grassroots leaders
- Assist in designing, developing and delivery of training programmes
- Planning, execution and assessment of all Leadership trainings at CORO
- Extensive field visits
- Assist in co-ordinating with field teams, organisations, people and government
Expected Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to build effective Training and learning programs, e-learning and blended learning content, ground up.
- Ability to design and deliver interventions or programmes in the leadership development, organizational development processes
- Ability to manage multiple programmes and stakeholders in parallel
- Should be able to analyze data and metrics to make data driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills and should be able to articulate their thoughts in a simple and understandable manner
- Strong mentoring , facilitation, and presentation skills
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Social Work or Equivalent degree
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of works expertise in Training and development in development sector
- Excellent organizational , leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Should have an understanding of Constitutional rights and values and a vision for social change process
