Head of UX – ConveGenius

As the Head of UX, you’ll lead the charge in designing and optimising user-centric products (primarily SwiftChat) and experiences. SwiftChat is an ecosystem of chatbots and mini-apps, with over 1M app downloads on Play Store and over 100M+ user profiles across states. You will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of UX design initiatives to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Craft and execute a UX strategy that aligns with our mission to make an impact in the education sector.
Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of UX/UI wizards, nurturing a culture of innovation and excellence.

Product Design and Development:

Oversee the entire design process, from wild ideas to real-world impact.
Collaborate with diverse teams (product management, engineering, content) to craft mind-blowing user experiences.

User Research and Analysis:

Dive deep into user research, harvest feedback, and extract wisdom to drive design and product enhancements.
Create user personas, guide user journeys, and orchestrate usability tests that lead to user bliss.

UX Standards and Best Practices:

Set the gold standard for UX design, crafting guidelines that stand as a benchmark for excellence.
Keep an eagle eye on industry trends and cutting-edge tech to keep our designs ahead of the curve.

Collaboration and Communication:

Cultivate collaboration and rock-solid communication within the UX crew and our cross-functional buddies.
Present your masterpieces, strategies, and discoveries to stakeholders and senior leaders who fuel the UX dream.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
• 8+ years of UX/UI wizardry, with a penchant for impact and users
• A proficient leader, with a talent for inspiring and leading teams
• Proficient in leading-edge design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, and Figma
• Communication skills that turn problems into puzzles and numbers into insights
• A passion for social impact and a knowledge of India’s educational landscape
