Job Description:

As a Carbon Emission Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our team, contributing to the advancement of sustainable practices across industries. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to carbon emissions, supporting clients in ESG reporting, and devising strategies for effective decarbonization. Familiarity with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) will be a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough carbon footprint assessments for diverse clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients to gather relevant data and provide insights on sustainable business practices, incorporating CBAM principles.
• Analyze and interpret complex environmental data to identify areas for carbon reduction and develop strategies for achieving net-zero goals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in carbon emissions and sustainability.
• Assist in the development of client-focused reports, presentations, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in carbon emission analysis, ESG reporting, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and modeling.
• Knowledge of current environmental regulations, carbon accounting standards, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
