1. Associate General Manager – Planning

Locations : Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata

Your Role:
You will be responsible for anchoring long and short-term planning for CRY – Financial Planning, MIS, Projections, and Analytics.

Your role will involve anchoring CRY Operational MIS, Strategic MIS, and Facilitating mechanisms for mapping progress on strategy. Identification and mapping of efficiency ratios would be an important part of the role. The role also holds to group processes within CRY and facilitating reviewing. Strategy frameworks and objective setting for CRY and different functions.

Eligibility:
You must be a Master in Business Administration / MA Economics / Mcom with 8 to 10 years experience in a Functional / Organizational MIS, Projections, and Analytics. Strong understanding of Strategic and Analytical Thinking and Knowledge of forecasting/ analysis tools and techniques along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential

2. Consultant- Corporate Partnerships (Mumbai)

Function / Division: Resource Generation

Location: Mumbai

Position is contractual for 1 year.

Your role:

  • This role is responsible for managing corporate partnerships in the region to raise financial resources in support of CRY’s objectives
  • Explore and nurture current Corporate partnerships through timely communication and superior client servicing, to meet the income generation targets of the team
  • Develop new Corporate partnerships, increase reach out to large and medium sized
  • Corporate organizations for employee engagement, pay roll giving programs, donation drives, cause related marketing tie-ups etc.
  • Conduct meetings with potential donors and support closure of deals, to acquire new donor partnerships
  • Ensure compliance to all processes related to donor management and ensure timely and accurate reviews and reporting
  • Ensure regular communication with the corporate partners to provide them an update on CRY initiatives and their respective impact
  • Develop and manage partnerships for events, co-promotion, branding with established brands to increase CRY’s visibility and presence in the region

You:
You must be a Graduate with 3 to 5 years of experience in Social Marketing ,CSR foundation , Corporate fund raising in NGO’S / INGO’S having strong communication skills along with an ability to take initiatives and a drive to achieve results.

3. Associate General Manager – Policy

Function / Division: Policy Research Advocacy Documentation (PRAD)

Location: Delhi

Your role is responsible to develop and implement CRY’s advocacy strategies to achieve policy outcomes that ensure the realization of the rights of children. The role will involve scanning external policies at regional, national and international level and engage with related external stakeholders like civil society, public representatives, Government officials, NCPCR, NHRC and think tank and think tanks. You will be working closely with CRY’s program implementation team and ensure that grassroot experiences are translated into advocacy agenda of the organization. Your role will also involve providing support in formulating CRY’s research and media related strategies and ensuring the use of evidence and media in advocacy.

You will be responsible in collating and sharing policy development updates, documentation, Policy briefs, analysis of legislation and policies from the perspective of the children, policy analysis and promoting effective knowledge building activities of CRY’s employees on various policies directly or indirectly related to Child Rights. You will be responsible to manage and develop your team member.

Other activities will involve:

  • Develop and manage consultants through anticipating and meeting articulated needs
  • Represent CRY in appropriate internal and external forums
  • Strategic use of Media in CRY advocacy initiative through collaborative efforts with Media Unit
  • Timely development of CRY Point Of Views to respond to external events and policy changes
  • Develop position papers on relevant thematic areas and update them regularly

You:

  • You should be a Master Degree in public policy / social sciences / law with ten to twelve years of work experience with at least three years of direct experience on policy advocacy concerning children; in depth understanding of child rights or other Human Rights issues is required along with good written and presentation skills.

4. Assistant Manager – Communications (East)

Function / Division: Communications

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

About The Role:
This position will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing CRY’s communication strategy in the East region. Core responsibilities include sourcing media partnerships, cracking brand collaborations, managing regional inter-functional communication/creative requirements and aiding content strategy for the function. Tracking the performance of implemented plans and managing regional communication budgets will be an essential aspect of the role. Increasing CRY’s brand visibility and recall in the regions, in line with national communication objectives, will be a critical measure of this role. As a member of the Communications function, you will act as a brand custodian and ensure that all brand guidelines are adhered to.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Marketing/Communications/Mass Communications
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a brand communications role
  • Strong understanding of brand & marketing concepts along with excellent copywriting skills is a must
  • Basic design skills and software knowledge is an asset. Experience with media planning and buying is an added advantage.

5. Director – Finance

Function / Division: Finance

The Role:
To formulate, monitor, optimize and control financial processes for CRY including establishing and maintaining effective and efficient planning, budgeting, performance-monitoring and risk-management systems.

  • As part of the leadership team, develop CRY’s vision mission & strategy & monitor its implementation
  • Ensure consistent communication and interpretation of the organization’s financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop annual budgets and review financial performance against planned income and expenditure, undertake financial modeling and provide financial MIS for all key decision making.
  • Establish financial control systems and procedures, and ensure implementation of and adherence to the same. Ensure implementation of the necessary common accounting procedures across locations
  • Monitor the performance of the organization against established quantitative and qualitative targets, ensure regular information flow to and from the branches and functions with respect to current performance, areas of achievement/improvement, and variances against budgets
  • Undertake monitoring of branch financial activities and provide branches with the necessary support, assist branches and functions to achieve synergies and cascade the organizational plans and targets
  • Conduct regular audits of financial systems and ensure that exceptions are highlighted analyzed and managed
  • Effectively manage funds by pertinent and timely investment and fund-management activities for maximizing return on investment, minimizing risk and maintaining optimum liquidity
  • Undertake effective tax planning at the organizational level (direct and indirect taxation) and provide inputs for commercial decisions
  • Undertake advance planning for fund-flows, and ensure effective and efficient cash-flows for disbursal (long and short term) while maintaining planned profitability levels Formulate a financial strategy for CRY in line with business goals and ensure that the organization is able to meet its funding obligations
    Provide inputs on CRY’s expansion into new geographies on governance models, taxation norms, statutory requirements, etc.
  • Manage relationship with regulatory authorities to ensure that CRY’s financial status (such as tax exempt status) is maintained.Confirming with Government rules and regulations and ensuring compliance.

You:
You should be a chartered accountant/MBA Finance with 15-20 years of experience with at least 3 years in a leadership position .Experience in a Funding organization and/or development sector would be an added advantage.You are a master with numbers and have impeccable integrity. You have an indepth understanding of Finance operations and how financial systems can support and maximize the resources.

6. Consultant – Donor Relationship HNI

Function / Division: Resource Development

Location: Delhi, Mumbai

This role will drive high value donor portfolio, calling, engaging, and meetiing with portfolio donors to ensure retention and upgrades. This person will also work to create personalized communication and create programmes that will build relations with HNIs. He/she will also build relations to get new references and create giving circle.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Engaging with donors to meet monthly and annual income targets.

2. Creation of customized communication for HNIs

3. Ensure donor upgrades and new references

4. Provide support in acquiring HNIs

5. Design relationship programmes for donors

6. Donor profiling , and scoping of opportunities

7. Handle donor queries/ grievances.

8. Manage relevant documentation and approvals for the function

Skills & Experience:

  • Academic training in Graduate/ Post graduate
    4 to 7 years of experience in sales/ marketing and at least 2-3 years of HNI interface
  • Proficiency in handling sales/ Customer Relationship Profile in Bank/Insurance/Telecom

7. Manager – Development Support (West Region)

Division: Development Support

Location: Mumbai (for West Region)

Your Challenge:
At CRY – Child Rights and You, you’ll be using your professional skills and experience to help restore to underprivileged Indian children their basic rights to – survival, development, protection and participation. CRY has a holistic approach to development based on the child rights framework with community empowerment as a key ingredient. CRY also places strong emphasis on networking with other NGOs and advocacy efforts to influence macro policies for children.

CRY’s assistance to the child development initiatives isn’t just financial. Our Development support team enables our partners work through capacity building, infrastructure support, sharing of ideas and information, networking and joint planning, monitoring and evaluation impact, research, documentation and government interface

Your Role:
As a person in this position, you will be the link between CRY and CRY-supported projects in the project areas of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. Your responsibilities will include planning, monitoring and evaluation of supported initiatives, assessing and providing for partners capacity building needs, environment scanning, identifying areas/projects for CRY’s intervention and planning and supporting networking efforts. To manage, implement and supervise the projects for children on the ground as per grant allocation.

You:
You must be a Post – Graduate in Social Work, Sociology or Rural Development from a reputed institute. You must have 5-7 years experience in the field of urban or rural development, having experience in planning, monitoring and evaluating projects, interfacing with the government and other stakeholders. Strong written and oral communication skills in English & a working knowledge of the local language are essential. Experience of having worked with communities within the state of preference would be an added advantage. You should be willing to travel up to 15 days in a month.

8. Manager – Project Audit

Function / Division: Grant Risk Management

Location: Kolkata

Your Role:
You would be responsible for handling internal audit and/or systems audit assignments and helping partner NGOs to adhere to CRY prescribed accounting norms and practices and internal control mechanisms and guiding partners on adherence to statutory compliances of Income Tax and FCRA.

You will be responsible for:

  • Grant utilisation audit of Partner NGOs and prepare a time bound risk mitigation plan
  • Assist in annual evaluation of risk mitigation plan and share feedback on status of mitigation
  • Prepare pre selection evaluation report
  • Adhere to all organisational systems, processes and timelines.
  • This role requires extensive travelling and the candidate should be open to travel at least 5-10 days a month once the pandemic situation improves.

You:
You must be a CA with 2 to 3 years of experience of internal audit, systems audit and preparing audit report. Pre-qualification and article ship experience will also be considered in case of a fresher. Sectoral experience is not mandatory. Rather strong exposure to audit would be welcome.

9. Senior Manager – Policy Advocacy (Delhi)

Function / Division: Policy Research Advocacy Documentation (PRAD)

Location: Delhi

The Role:
It is the main responsibility of this position is to contribute to the knowledge of the organization on policy analysis to consolidate key debates on laws and policies pertaining to children; Simplify and summarise laws, policies and international standards; Track development in national and international policy engagement processes. The core responsibility will be developing working papers and policy briefs based on evidences. Represent CRY in appropriate platforms both internally and externally as per need

You:
You should be a Post graduate having 7+ years of work experience with at least couple of years of direct experience of having worked on policy advocacy. You must have understanding of child rights issues and understanding/knowledge of key policies/laws concerning child rights. Analytical ability, good communication skills oral and written, ability to work in a team are also key requisites.
