About Integrated Leadership Forum Against Trafficking (ILFAT)
ILFAT is India’s first forum against human trafficking which is by the survivors, of the survivors and for the survivors of all forms of human trafficking, formed in 2019. The forum was started by the survivors of trafficking with an aim to end all forms of human trafficking in the country.
Currently, 12 survivor collectives across 07 states (West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan) with a membership of more than 4,000 survivors constitute ILFAT and represent survivors of child trafficking, forced labour, and sex trafficking.
Chase India acts as the secretariat to this forum.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a driven and highly motivated individual to support ILFAT’s growth by focusing on organizational development, enhancing member engagement, and managing compliance-related documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with the rest of the Secretariat team and partners in the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) to advance the priorities of ILFAT. This role emphasizes fostering collaboration, motivation, and cohesion within the forum while contributing to other key responsibilities of the Secretariat.
In this role, you will be the daily point of contact for the ILFAT Leadership Council, Managing Committee, and Board Members. You will be expected to take ownership, operate independently (with senior team members to lean on for support), and mentor and support junior team members, as required.
