The Centre for Integrated and Holistic Studies (CIHS) is an non-partisan, independent, research think tank headquartered in New Delhi, India. The Centre for Integrated and Holistic Studies (CIHS) is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals for research internship positions at our esteemed institution. CIHS is committed to fostering interdisciplinary research and providing a holistic perspective on global issues. We invite applications from enthusiastic candidates with a keen interest in international relations, human rights, foreign affairs, and policy research.

Position: Research Intern (Multiple Positions Available)

Duration:(3 months-6 months)

Location: Blending remote work with periodic in-person attendance at the New Delhi office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on international relations, human rights, foreign affairs, or policy studies.
  • Proficiency in foreign languages is highly desirable.
  • Living, studying, or working experience in Europe or North America is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and contribute to ongoing research projects.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Draft reports, policy briefs, and other research documents.
  • Attend and contribute to seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and professionals.
  • Actively communicate on behalf of the institution with relevant individuals and institutions in Europe and
  • North America to explore collaboration opportunities, joint research projects, and knowledge exchange.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance CIHS’s visibility and network in the international academic and policy communities.
  • Represent CIHS at conferences, meetings, and events to promote our research initiatives and seek potential partnerships.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research tools.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
