Job Purpose

  • Revenue generation and cost of sales for the ELT vertical in India
  • Managing and retaining accounts in Universities, Engineering/Management Colleges, Institutes, Private
  • Language Institutes, Training Companies, Corporates & Skill/Vocational Training Centres.
  • Creation and Tracking of Sales and Collections: Budget & Achievement (variance if any to be tracked)
  • Execution of Sales Plan in alignment with the CUP&A India and Vertical’s (Including promotions and reach agenda) in alignment with the CUP&A India
  • Support sales function effectively and ensuring sales capability building for the vertical in India

Other: 25 – Channel partners, 120-150 ELT Clients and educational institutions

Principal Accountabilities

  • Market Outreach & penetration
  • Distribution management
  • Workshop on time-to-time basis having maximum number of participants.
  • Handle local compliance
  • Branding & Promotion
  • Salesforce log in regularly and also to ensure that each team member enters daily / (if any) daily all activities in SF
  • Share weekly & monthly reports – Internal and external market changes and scenario

Knowledge & Experience

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to manage the sales of designated region
  • Market Intelligence
  • Competition insights
  • Relationship Building skills
  • Coverage of institutes, colleges, universities, private language institutes & ensure conversion of leads to businesses (sale closure)
  • Meet authorities of various educational institutions for business discussion
  • Regular follow up on leads

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Sampling of products to educational institutions
  • Prepare and make product presentations to target audience
  • Ensure conversion of leads to businesses (sale closure)
  • Meet authorities of various institutions for business discussion
  • Follow up on leads generated by the sales team

Administration Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of the daily, weekly & monthly visits
  • Maintain and share MIS sheet on weekly/monthly basis
  • Travelling to Universities / Institutions /Colleges and Trade to close deals
  • Share weekly/monthly business plan and travel plan
  • Report periodically to the regional head on weekly/monthly basis
