Purpose of Position

  • The job incumbent is responsible to focus on consulting related dimensions of Carbon Foot Printing / Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting / Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting.
  • The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

Major Responsibilities

  • Working with different teams identify and contact potential clients for new engagements; build relationship with ongoing clients for repeat business
  • Responsible for high quality project delivery to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Clients and engagement management throughout lifecycle of the project to deliver within budget and timelines.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and research.
  • Perform research and analysis of companies across multiple sectors on
  • Sustainability Services including financial risk, corporate governance, environmental and social performance
  • Work closely with global colleagues for planning and executing the strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze and measure factors in business models, products and services that enable long term environmental and social impact returns.
  • Undertake capability building based on key Sustainability trends, development of in-house tools and accelerators.
  • Engage in got-to-market asset creation initiatives and collateral development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure profitable growth of Sustainability related / services offering in line with growth global strategy of Knowledge business in India.
  • Develop business plans and strategies to grow new contracts.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Establish competitor analysis and understanding of market share, train and manage the sales team in meeting sales targets.
  • At all times, adopt a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of Bureau Veritas employees and clients, in line with Bureau Veritas policies and procedures.
  • At all times, comply with Bureau Veritas Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

  • Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health safety and environment and workmen employment.
  • Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSE
  • Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & OSHAS18001:2007 standards) within his/her Region/Location/Team
  • Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety at their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
  • Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health Safety and Environment

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

  • Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
  • Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)

Qualification, Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • Academic qualification preferred Post Graduation in Environmental Engineering or Science in reputed university in India or global.
  • Total 5 yrs. of working experience preferred in Sustainability Consulting.
  • Knowledge of GRI Standard for Sustainability Reporting and Sustainability Assurance
  • Gap Assessment of the sustainability report as per GRI standards
  • Creating and drafting ESG strategies, policies and frameworks using ESG reporting system, SASB, GRI, CDP & TCFD
  • Strong technical knowledge in the domain of Carbon Footprinting, Life Cycle
  • Assessments, Climate Change and De-carbonization.
  • Experience of executing / leading large projects for Government or Corporates.
  • Understanding latest upcoming technologies defining future decarbonization pathways such as Carbon Capture etc.,
  • Knowledge on Green Building Standards and Environmental Audits.
