Manager Quality Corn 

Main Purpose

• Coordinate and facilitate inventory analysis and tracking to facilitate decision making and  release decisions
• Focus on building strategy and ensuring execution of operational objectives that align with APAC Product Supply & Global Quality objectives
• Ensure production quality appraisal process(PROQAP) facilitate grow out tests (GOT)and ascertain quality critical points (CCP) in row crop production and operations
• Facilitate resolution /information sharing of customer queries on quality  through root cause analysis and preventive actions .

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Ensure random and representative crop inspections of seed production fields at different stages of crop with main emphasis on genetic purity & physiological quality control .
• Maintain India Quality Integrated Management System including Quality Key

Requirements

• Execute customer complaint management/Root cause analysis and ensuring preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with other stakeholders
• Uphold high quality standards across quality systems that enable our freedom to operate, reduce risk, and address customer complaints/claims
• Develop, maintain, and communicate key quality management indicators that drive continuous improvement opportunities and deliver positive outcomes
• Manage India Non-conformance Management (Recalls, Incidents, Complaints)
• Define and steer India cross-functional CAPA projects derived from complaints, issues or trends
• Partner with Product Supply Teams to oversee consistency in RC  supply decisions, evaluate and communicate risks within India and implementation of management of change processes.
• Ensure communication of non-conforming products that could represent a significant risk to customers or row crop supply.
• Contribute the quarterly Quality Management Review
• Support technical trainings in FSS/best harvest practices/Moisture tests/disease management to filed and operations teams.
• Facilitate GOT and field emergence tests based on requirements of corn.
• Guide and mange field quality team activities.
• Coordinate with PS team and develop IT systems for Row crop quality and PS functions.
• Drive implementation of innovation and digitalization initiatives that supports driving efficiency and effectiveness .
• Monthly analysis of inventory for usability & risk categorization , track on non moving inventory and appraise team members.
• Consistently look at opportunities for liquidation of inventory on FEFO basis to improve freshness index.
• Ensure tracking of customer returns for timely revalidations to minimize write offs.
• Statement 1 &2 preparation

Qualifications & Competencies

• Post graduate in agriculture with 5+ years relevant business experience (including at least  2+ years  Leadership roles & experience)
• Strong leadership as well as partnering / stakeholder management skills
• Excellent team player, change and project management capabilities
• Experience leading teams with formal and informal authority. Regional or Country experience.
• Experience in cross-functional teams
• Experience in process audits.
