WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join the Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) group that supports our ESG and Social Impact Practices, both of which are critical pillars of Further, Bain’s holistic approach to ESG (Environment, Social, Governance).
Over the past two decades, we have formalized our industry and capability areas, internally known as “Practices”, integral to how we win and deliver results to our clients. PPK is a business unit of Bain and the team’s primary role is to drive growth in a particular industry or capability and boost our expertise and commercial excellence. Practices offer team members interesting content, high visibility to senior leadership, and an exciting career path within Bain.
You will join the ESG knowledge management team, which covers a range of ESG topics, including environmental, social and economic justice issues. This rapidly growing practice area is focused on helping our clients make critical decisions that impact the core of their business strategy, related to sustainability strategy, the environmental and social impact of operations, stakeholder engagement, and more. We work to ensure that ESG efforts are anchored in business fundamentals and demonstrate a clear return on investment – and that those efforts are then firmly embedded within our clients’ strategy and operations.
The Knowledge Manager manages the core Knowledge Management activities for the global Practice. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing a significant portion of the knowledge management function (i.e. solution, sector, and/or region), including ongoing management and professional development for the Knowledge team within that purview. You have a deep understanding of the ESG products and toolkit in order to provide exceptional service to practice leaders and case teams and improve delivery models
