Job Title Agriculture Officer

Job Description:

• Manage a large programme on Sustainable Agriculture involving Wadi (Agrihorticulture) plantations.
• Project planning, implementation management, quality assurance, monitoring,
  reporting and Liaoning will be integral part of job responsibility.
• Monitoring and field-level implementation management will be key job responsibility.
• Preparing and submitting high quality project progress reports.
• Substantial amount of time is expected to be spent in the field to develop these programs.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualification:
Education:

• Post-graduate/graduate in Agriculture or equivalent. Professionals with education in other fields but having extensive experience of working in Wadi program may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge about Wadi (Agri-horti Plantation) Program and technical knowledge of agriculture would be mandatory.
• High-level competency in managing the project in totality and independently. Financial management of project would be needed.
• Having field-level project implementation experience in agriculture and horticulture programs.
• Having skill of team and multi-stakeholders management.
• Competent in dealing with Sponsor while field visits and reporting.
• Documentation & Communication: Strong professional reporting, writing and presentation skills.
• Good analytical skills and understanding of Agriculture related issues.

Experience:

• Min. 1-3 years of professional experience in implementing Agri-horti/ Improved Agriculture Programme
• Ideal candidate needs to have substantial field experience of managing and implementing Wadi/agriculture projects.
