Our Current Programmes Portfolio:

Accelerator: Providing customised, intensive support to NGOs over 3 months to 3 years, focusing on organisational development to enhance capacity and drive growth in the social sector.

Lab: A collaborative hub partnering with funders, sector intermediaries and volunteers to foster innovation, develop resources and build human capital for NGO capacity building across India.

Volunteering Programme: Connecting skilled professionals with NGOs to address capacity building needs, expanding the social sector’s access to a diverse talent pool.

Beyond these core programmes, we offer webinars and workshops on relevant topics for the sector and NGOs.

Additionally, we work on ecosystem-building initiatives and advocate for capacity building to create a supportive
environment for NGOs to thrive and maximise their impact.

WE ARE HIRING!

  • Graduate/ Postgraduate with 2-3 years of overall work experience. Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience in MIS, impact measurement, fundraising, donor reporting, capacity building roles.
  • Location – Flexible- Anywhere in India
  • Work Type – Hybrid (Virtual working plus travel for meetings/ partner visits)

  • Salary range – 5 to 6 LPA + PF + Medical insurance + Allowances

Purpose of the Role:
The Associate Consultant, Programmes plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution and success of Atma’s
programmes. This role is responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting data by tracking programme impact, progress and coordinating with stakeholders. This role is also required to maintain Atma’s databases, develop and manage NGO pipelines, conduct outreach, oversee the recruitment process and to support data-driven decision-making and reporting.

Through these key responsibilities, the Associate Consultant, Programmes contributes significantly to the overall success and impact of Atma’s programmes in building the capacity of NGOs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Outreach
  • Research, manage enquiries to develop and manage NGO pipelines for Atma’s programmes.
  • Manage and maintain Atma’s NGO database for recruitment and engagement tracking.
  • Conduct outreach to potential NGO partners through various channels for recruitment drives.
  • Oversee the NGO recruitment process, including initial screening, interviews and selection.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new NGO partners including the onboarding documentation.

ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT, PROGRAMMES – JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Impact Measurement and Reporting
  • Collect, analyse and report data to track programmes impact and progress.
  • Design and implement data collection tools and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases to support data-driven decision-making and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Atma’s programmes.
  • Prepare regular impact reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners and the leadership team.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, innovations and competitor analysis particularly in the area of NGO capacity building.

Programmes Delivery Support

  • Coordinate with programmes teams to ensure smooth execution of Atma’s initiatives.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for programmes related activities, such as workshops, training sessions, and events.
  • Monitor programmes progress and identify areas for improvement, providing feedback and recommendations to the programmes teams as per the feedback from the partner NGOs.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of programmes related documents, such as SOPs, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and pilot projects to enhance Atma’s impact and reach.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve Atma’s programmes and processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NGO partners, donors and other key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for NGO partners, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and
    professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Atma communications team to develop and disseminate programmes related content, such as success stories, case studies and newsletters.
  • Represent Atma at external events, workshops and conferences to promote the organisation’s mission and
    programmes.
  • Participate in regular internal team meetings, training sessions and workshops to enhance personal and professional growth.

  • Framework proficiency: Logic model, results-based framework
  • Data collection methodology & research techniques: Qualitative and Quantitative approaches
  • Data Presentation: Clear and succinct communication of insights and findings
