Asian Development Bank Institute ADBI is the think tank of the Asian Development Bank and the lead chair of Think7, the official think tank engagement group under Japan’s 2023 G7 presidency.
The Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) is looking for a highly motivated full-time Research Associate with an interest in international finance and microeconomics. Ideal candidates would have at least a master’s degree and preferably a PhD in economics, finance, or closely related areas. Strong skills in applied econometric analysis are essential.

Appointment Terms
Research Associates serve for limited terms as independent contractors in a personal capacity, with an initial 1-year contract and a possible 1-year extension based on performance. The maximum duration of service is 2 years in total. Social insurance is not provided. Research Associates are neither officers nor staff of ADBI and work under the direct supervision of ADBI professional staff and the overall guidance of the Vice-Chairs of Research.
