Adhyayan Quality Education Foundation (AQEF) is a Section 8 company, CIN number U74999MH2015NPL266864. Co-founded by Ashoka Fellow, Kavita Anand, Adhyayan Foundation is a 4-year old capacity-building organisation dedicated to improving the quality of educational leadership and learning outcomes through leadership capacity-building, evidence-based school reviews, and data-driven professional learning communities.

We have worked with: DOE, Goa (across 800+ Government schools; 10,000+ teachers); Samagra Shiksha in Tripura (across 1450+ schools); DoE, Arunachal Pradesh (500+ schools), approximately 180 Gram Panchayat libraries in Karnataka, 1000+ schools in Nagaland and civil society organizations for various projects. We receive support from a wide range of institutional and individual donors. Our work in Arunachal Pradesh is
supported by GE Shipping.

While our work in the field continues, we are now seeking to develop an evidence-based body of knowledge on models of good governance in the public education system across 6 states (through our direct intervention) and others through partner organisations.

Role
We are looking for an Operations Executive who will be responsible for managing logistics and providing support to our senior leadership. You will be required to work alongside stakeholders, internal and external, to manage operations seamlessly.

The role requires you to be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication skills and an unerring eye for detail.

Responsibilities
● Liaising effectively across the organization with internal and external stakeholders
● Establishing processes and procedures for tasks
● Managing logistics, travel arrangements
● Checking and proofreading documents
● Translating documents from English to Kannada and vice versa

Experience and Qualifications
● A graduate/postgraduate degree in any field
● Experience in managing operations and doing administrative work
● Fluency in English and Kannada

Skills and Competencies
● Ability to work with people from various backgrounds and of varying age groups, as well as to work independently with minimal supervision
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Good time management and planning skills
● Creative problem solving
● Flexible and adaptable
● Passionate about education and equity and willing to learn
● Proficiency in word processing and using presentation software
● An eye for design and detail

Compensation The salary for this position is Rs 40,000 per month.

Location While this is largely a work from home position, applicants need to be based in Bangalore.
