Action for Social Advancement (ASA) Founded in 1996 by a group of development professionals with considerable experience of working in community led natural resources development with the tribal community of central India, Action for Social Advancement (ASA) has emerged as a prime field implementing organisation for promotion of farm based livelihoods of small and marginal farmers. We are registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act. 1950
Action for Social Advancement (ASA) is a NGO head quartered at Bhopal and working for the livelihoods improvement of rural poor in over 3000 villages in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, UP and Orissa since 1996. It works in the field of Land and Water Resources Development, Sustainable Agriculture Productivity Enhancement and Agribusiness Promotion for smallholder farmers.
