Position Description

We are seeking an individual with entrepreneurial experience for the position of Assistant Incubation Program Manager.

The Assistant Incubation Program Manager will be responsible for program management, operations, execution and marketing of all major programs of the Incubation center including the Incubation Program; leading all engagement activities from the pre-program stage, through the program, and the post-program stage by monitoring, controlling and reporting progress.

As the main point of contact for program operations, you will play a key role in contributing to the success of all participating women entrepreneurs.

About The Incubation Center

It is an incubation center for women entrepreneurs built in collaboration by the Sita Devi Taparia Trust (CSR wing of Supreme Industries) and its project implementation partner– ANWA (Aatm Nirbhar Women’s Association Trust) with the objective to promote economic development and growth of women through micro and mass entrepreneurship development. The Business Incubation Program (BIP) will cater to non-tech small businesses being run by the middle and low income urban women population of Mathura. The focus area of the program will be product innovation.

Job Duties

The Assistant Incubation Program Manager will work closely with the board. Some of the specific responsibilities include:

  • Overall planning the activities, resources and programs of the Community center; manage the day-to-day interaction with the Incubatees and provide continued strategic guidance to entrepreneurs in areas of expertise.
  • Pre-program: Develop and execute strategy for outreach, scouting, screening and on-boarding of quality and innovative women entrepreneurs with potential.
  • Program: Design, plan and deliver the incubation program to support the businesses: create scale-up plans and implement them, assist in pilots, engage with facilitators, keep track of the incubation process; support cohort companies in preparing pitch and getting funding, etc.
  • Events and workshops: Execute various workshops/events to support the cohort as part of the program.
  • Mentor Network: Develop the network of mentors, facilitators, experts and speakers and work with them to make the cohort companies successful.
  • Partnerships: Forge partnerships with various ecosystem players including incubators, accelerators, investors, corporates, academic institutions, govt., sponsors, service providers and others for collaboration and support. Maintain engagement with various stakeholders by developing, and executing a rolling calendar of strategic events.
  • Marketing the Program and Business Development: Develop messaging and outreach regarding the incubation program and actively promote it through various channels in coordination with the marketing agency.
  • Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records
  • Post Program: Lead the alumni engagement program activities to help support both cohort and portfolio companies post the Incubation Program. Track feedback from cohort companies using quantitative and qualitative metrics on the performance of the Incubation Program.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with min 1 – 2 years of experience.
  • Entrepreneurial experience is a must for this position and must be highlighted.
  • We are looking for an individual who is a quick learner, agile and has an entrepreneurial mindset to work.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with women entrepreneurs, incubators or running their own entrepreneurial venture
  • Experience of managing operations of a large program is a plus.
  • Great writing skills with an ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English. This is a major skill and will be tested during the selection process.
  • Flexibility to unlearn and learn and to work with individuals from different cultures.
  • Requisite network in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Evidence of strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups including businesses, entrepreneurs, major corporations, universities, the public and economic development organizations.
