We define a Community Host as a trusted organization in a local community that brings people together around common activities and beliefs, such as cultural venues, sports clubs, co-working spaces, innovation hubs, urban centres, youth centres, faith-based institutions, educational institutions, public libraries, among others.
We are writing to you to invite you to join the Global Assembly, as an implementing partner in a key funded position. We want to change the way international decisions are made by creating a forum for people to have a direct say in their future and the future of the planet, reimagining decision making to better serve all. We can only do this with the help of amazing community organisations like yours.
The Global Assembly is the first global citizens’ assembly on climate change. We will bring together 100 people from around the world to study and discuss the climate & ecological emergency and provide guidance for the international community at COP26, the UN’s biggest Climate conference which is happening this November, and beyond.
At the Global Assembly, we are shaping new ways of collective problem-solving, people power and citizen participation at the global level, by centering local organizations like you!

We want to work with you to own and help design the process and allow your communities to be heard.
