Background
Since the recent amendments to the CSR Rules, 2014 and Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 mandates new compliance requirements of nonprofits, Sattva believes this to be a good opportunity for all nonprofit organizations to check their overall level of compliance with respect to the old and the new CSR provisions, as well as reflect on their institutional readiness for CSR funding.
To that end, Sattva has hosted a series of Webinars in regional languages to help nonprofits in navigating CSR compliance requirements and to enable such NGOs to potentially leverage CSR engagement to create impact. The webinar covered key aspects of CSR compliance such as statutory requirements, finance & accounting, planning & reporting, registrations & declarations, governance and MIS.
