Therefore, we have created an advocacy platform for protecting vulnerable people from human trafficking. We present to you, CHETNA: Conference on Human Exploitation and Trafficking for National Awareness, which aims to encourage dialogue on the contemporary challenges confronted by national and international stakeholders and their evolving role in combatting human trafficking.

About CHETNA:

Conference on Human Exploitation and Trafficking for National Awareness is an advocacy platform for protecting vulnerable persons from human trafficking. The purpose of the program is to encourage dialogue on the contemporary challenges confronted by international and national stakeholders and their evolving role in combatting human trafficking in celebration of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Objectives of CHETNA

  • Sharing best practices among participating states and key stakeholders
  • Collaboration among stakeholders for synchronized efforts towards combating trafficking.
  • Encouraging dialogue on public policy and consensus among various stakeholders for constructive collaboration
  • Defining agenda for implementation through a multi-level governance mechanism
  • Identifying areas of capacity building for effective and responsive implementation
  • Aligning innovative and multilateral solutions with SDGs and their targets.
