Centre for Youth is working for the welfare of the rural and urban youth. C4Y facilitates the participation and civic engagement of youth at all levels of governance by providing them sustainable avenues and the right platforms to further their growth and encourage their participation for social and financial inclusion.

Centre for Youth (C4Y) invites applications from the students enrolled and studying in government colleges and universities for Merit-cum-Means ‘C4Y Ujjwal Deep Scholarship 2021’. The initiative aims at financially supporting the underprivileged meritorious students to fulfill their dreams and pursue their career plans successfully. Overall goal of the scholarship is to promote academic excellence in the higher education sector in the country.

Ujjwal Deep Scholarship is reaching out to the students having limited means of resources due to low family income, COVID distress or other financial problems.

The students from Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), Baddi (Himachal Pradesh), Goa and Vadodra (Gujarat) who are pursuing regular undergraduate and postgraduate education in Medical, Engineering or Allied subjects from the government educational institutions across the country are invited to apply for their career advancement. The students enrolled in Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) and Polytechnics would also be supported through this dedicated scholarship. The selected students would be provided with one-time monetary aid of up to INR one lakh.

2021 C4Y Scholarships

100 scholarships each of up to INR One Lakh (towards tuition fees, development charges, hostel, mess and other charges) will be disbursed to the educational institutions directly.

Location

The applicants who are the residents of any of the following locations would be offered Ujjwal Deep Scholarship for studying in the government educational institutions across India.

Who can apply?

  • Students pursuing regular undergraduate and postgraduate medical, engineering and other allied courses.
  • Students enrolled in the diploma and certificate full- time allied courses post 10th or 12th grades.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Indian Nationals only
  2. Merit based
  3. Applicant must have passed the qualifying examination and secured admission
  4. Applicant pursuing professional courses must not have any backlog
  5. Enrolled or studying in government colleges or institutions anywhere in India
  6. Students from the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families or have limited annual family income due to COVID pandemic or other compelling reasons would be given preference

Mandatory Documents along with the Application

Identity proof: Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ Driving License of the applicants and parent/ guardian
Residence proof: Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ Driving License/ Electricity Bill/ Postpaid Mobile Bill of the applicants or parent/ guardian

Current year admission proof: Fee Receipt/ Admission Letter/ Bonafide Certificate from institution/ Institution ID Card

Mark Sheet: Last passed class mark sheet (10th or 12th)

Passed previous qualifying exam: Mark sheet of last examination Mark sheet of last examination

Documentary proof for income: Income proof issued by Employer/ Or Income proof issued by Gram Panchayat Sarpanch/ Counsellor/ Or Income proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar/ Or Affidavit/ Or Ration Card/ Or Bank- statement of the parent or guardian

Educational institute supporting the applicant: Recommendation letter on the institute letterhead and signed by the authority in support of the application
