Lighthouse Communities (formerly Pune City Connect) is a non-profit organization working towards building inclusive communities in India. Our programs include Quality Education, Sustainable Livelihood and Digital Empowerment.
Our vision is “Sampoorna Pune. Every Life Enriched”. Our unique ‘collective action’ model is thriving, thanks to a Public-Private-Partnership between Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and corporates. Active participation by citizens and other non-profit organizations contributes further to the goal of inclusive and equitable growth in Pune.
PCC’s programs focus on three development areas targeting all age groups in low-income communities:
1. Quality Education – for children
2. Sustainable Livelihood – for youth
3. Digital Empowerment – for adults including senior citizens
While the collective action approach enables scale, there is equal emphasis on depth. Our program design stands out for its focus on enabling agency and full potential of individuals.
