Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), founded in 1980, is based in New Delhi and is headed by environmentalist Sunita Narain. Over the years, with its in-depth scientific and policy research, CSE has tried to build an informed community, which now understands that safeguarding the environment is an integral part of sustainable economic development.

To carry forward this mission, CSE has forayed into capacity-building programmes, the growing success of which has prompted the Centre to expand its training base.

Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute, an initiative of CSE, is a training and innovation centre located at Neemli near Alwar (Rajasthan) — about 100 kilometres from Delhi. It is a ‘green’ residential facility spread over 10 acres of land and has been structured to be a model resource-efficient and conserving building.

The AAETI offers a range of environmental training programmes to policy- and decision-makers in governments, industries, universities as well as other professionals and entrepreneurs. The candidate needs to have experience in running an educational facility and be in tune with our philosophies.

Job profile

The incumbent will be responsible for the entire upkeep of the facility. They will be expected to work closely with the management staff to oversee the following functions:

• Handling all administrative work
• Maintenance of infrastructure on campus
• Liasoning with local vendors for carrying out maintenance activities at facility
• Overall canteen management
• Carrying out other administrative tasks as and when required for smooth functioning of facility
• Supervising staff facilitating the above function

Desired candidate profile

• Post graduates with at least 15 years of experience working in a similar capacity.
• The candidate will be stationed at Neemli and will be provided accommodation for stay on the residential campus.
• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
