Wadhwani Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare (WISH) is a flagship program of Lords Education & Health Society, a registered non-profit organization in India. WISH works towards improving the quality of and access to primary healthcare services for the under-served communities in India. In 2014, the Wadhwani Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare (WISH), the flagship program of LEHS, was established. Reporting:  Senior Specialist – Urban Health

Location: Bhopal, MP
 
Span of Control: Organization wide role

External Stakeholders: Government, Donors, Vendors etc.
 
Internal Stakeholders: CEO, Senior Director(s), Program Directors, State Directors, Functional Heads and entire WISH program and dissemination team

Education: Masters in Healthcare Management /Public Health with some exposure on digital health information technology
 
Experience/ Skills: The incumbent should have:

Minimum of 3 – 4 years’ experience in public health with one-year experience on digital health information technology.

Language Proficiency: Hindi and English

Job Role:
 
The key deliverables will include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Coordination with the field team for timely redressal of programmatic and technical issues
  • Ensure timely meetings of PMU are taken up for review of the program
  • Facilitate and ensure skill development and capacity building of personnel manning the clinics on digital application management and operations
  • Ensure medicines and commodity supplies at the centres in coordination with facility authorities and district level NHM
  • Ensure enforcement of online Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Complaint Redressal & Monitoring System (CRMS)
  • Ensure that quality standards at the facilities are maintained in coordination with the field team
  • Regular field visits for ensuring functionality and providing supportive supervision to Sanjeevani Clinics across the state
  • Facilitate engagement of community and community capacity building for health promotion and support field team for the same
  • Support NHM to organize capacity building training of the Sanjeevani Clinic staff in various innovative primary healthcare models
  • Ensure research areas in coordination with the M & E and technical team of WISH
  • Support to establish existing community-based health need gaps, identify strengths and gaps in the current system and measure the impact of the intervention in coordination with the M & E team of WISH
  • Facilitate formation of Sanjeevani Clinic Task Force (STF) and ensure the task force regularly meet to review the program
  • Provide programmatic support to data analytics
  • Assist in IEC development and documentation of best practices
  • The role may include other reasonable duties, in line with the role and level, assigned from time to time as deemed fit by the supervisor in NHM and LEHS|WISH
