Job Description:

1. Project Management for ESG and GHG

1. Managing the entire project of ESG and driving the delivery of requirements from various stakeholders

2. ESG initiatives to be implemented across the Company covering areas like learning and development, channel partner relationship, administration, vendor development, corporate governance, etc.

3. Data collection and preliminary write-up preparation for ESG reports

4. Monitoring the same on an on-going basis

2. Liasoning with stakeholders

1. Includes all internal and external stakeholders

2. Aligning the project approach, scope and timelines with the group companies

3. Conduct meetings of the Senior Management’s ESG steering committee periodically,

4. Appraise the senior management and others working in the project on initiatives taken, progress and drive it further towards the goal

3. BRSR Reporting

1. Preparing the company’s inputs in to the BRSR Report of its holding company.

2. Drive the change initiative in alignment with group companies’ SPOCs and external agencies in order to prepare the BRSR Reporting of the company and its inputs to the holding company

3. Following up on the contents and commitments in BRSR from the company and monitoring its fulfillment

4. Assisting in formulation of policies / program / trainings with ESG lenses and review or modification as per requirements of BRSR reporting

5. Inter-department co-ordination for data gathering and process formulation.

4. Coordination for enhancing social media visibility for ESG initiatives.

1. Close liasoning with the Corporate Communications, Brand and Digital mar

2. Engaging with rating agencies for needed clarifications and modifications if needed.

3. Peer benchmarking and update on recent developments in industry for ESG / sustainability aspects.

4. Preparing MIS / Decks for investor presentations or Steering committee meetings for ESG aspects

5. Provide technical expertise on key issues related to environmental and social impact assessment and on sustainability risks in the design, preparation, implementation and supervision taking into consideration best industry practices and standards

  • Manage and conduct environmental and social safeguarding due diligence for underwriting
  • Identify all key potential social and environmental impacts and risks of transactions and ensure that their magnitude and significance are well understood by internal underwriters and approvers
  • Ensure that the policyholder understands the applicable ESG policies, guidelines and project-specific requirements, and has the necessary commitment and capacity to manage social and environmental impacts and/or risks adequately and supported by mechanisms that facilitate implementation
  • Conduct consultations with stakeholders in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines and be responsible for necessary reports.
  • Report on and disseminate good practices and generated knowledge.

6. Risk Management

  • Work with various business region to identify ESG related risks.
  • Develop the appropriate strategies to address the ESG risks and their potential impacts
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records and investigates complaints and suspected violations. Monitors follow-up actions in cases where violations were found, and review compliance monitoring reports
