1. Program Head – Updeshak Programme (Full time)
Location: Bangalore, will involve travel across different parts of India.
Purpose of the Job:
- Enable existing NGO board members of Dhwani partners to increase their understanding on governance and promote best governance practices in their respective organizations.
- Enroll external people who are interested to serve on NGO boards, build their capacities and support them to join NGO boards to promote independent board members in NGOs.
Responsibilities:
- Design strategies and implementation plan for the programmme aligning with DF strategic plans for Updeshak programme.
- Work with ED to develop annual plans, budgets, human resources to meet the overall goals of the program.
- Build networks and linkages to ensure required external Updeshak Fellows are enrolled.
- Design the training, orientation courses for both existing board members and Updeshak fellows in order to enhance their skills in NGO governance.
- Work closely with NGO leaders to support and handhold them in order to adapt best governance practices and take required decisions.
- Mentor and guide Updeshak fellows to ensure their joining to the board and retaining them on the boards as contributing members.
- Develop all the required process, materials, manuals etc that are required for the programme delivery.
- Build and manage the team as per the programme needs.
- Coordinate with other DF programme teams to align with timelines and deliverables.
- Build alumni of Updeshak fellows and organize quarterly interactions.
- Provide monthly, quarterly reports, data and all other necessary documentation needed by the management and to any donors supporting Updeshak programme.
- Be part of the senior management team to contribute for the overall growth of the organization.
Experience:
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in working with senior management teams in recruitments or marketing and experience working with multiple stakeholders.
- Exposure to NGO sector or Experience in training will be an added advantage.

2. Program Head – DrishtE E-learning platform (Full time)
Location: Bangalore, will involve travel across different parts of India.
Purpose of the Job:
- Enable NGOs, Social Sector professionals and students to improve their knowledge to ensure that they are able to effectively implement non-domain aspects of the NGO sector.
- Influence universities, larger NGO forums and other institutes to adapt DhristE materials as part of their curriculum to enhance human resources for the non-domain aspects of social sector
Responsibilities:
- Design marketing strategies in order to meet annual target for DhristE platform to be used by 5000 beneficiaries.
- Explore technology platforms to simplify enrollment processes and broaden geography coverage.
- Work with the team for constant upgradation of content and additions as per the requirements.
- Put a system in order to ensure effective tracking systems are in place and the course completion rate is at 50%.
- Build networks/collaborations with various institutes such as academia, NGO federations, Professional student bodies, Research institutes across the country to ensure the programme reaches to multiple stakeholders.
- Manage the team, guide them for continuous learning and improvement of programme delivery.
- Promote community connect among all the alumni.

3. Head – Finance, HR & Admin (Full time)
Location: Bangalore, might involve travel.
Purpose of the Job:
The Compliance and Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of finance, compliance, HR and MIS management of the organization, ensuring compliance with internal policies and as well as that of Donors and Government regulations. The person will assist the leader and the board in all secretarial work.
Responsibilities:
Compliance, Financial and Accounting:
- Manage, supervise and support the day-to-day financial and compliance operations of the organization involving multiple donors, multiple projects, and programmes.
- Responsible for Budgeting for the entire organization, maintenance of weekly, and monthly reports along with other MIS.
- Responsible for all the donor reports and reporting on various variances as well as making early corrections.
- Supervision and Inspection of Payroll in Collaboration with HR department.
- Ensuring strict timelines in the book closures and reporting and variance analysis.
- Timely submissions of donor and other stakeholders’ requirements like Utilization certificates and other reports.
- Manage Procurement, Donors visits, programme delivery and guiding the team with regards to finance and compliance aspects.
- Filing statutory returns like Income Tax, TDS and FCRA and coordinate with the consultants and stakeholders for the same.
- Manage and Supervise the Profit and Loss account of the Self Generation Unit.
- Manage and support partner organizations on Finance and Compliance functions with periodical visits to regional and project centres.
- Finalization of books of accounts and preparation of the financials.
- Liaising with the internal and external stakeholders including auditors, bankers, and other consultants.
Human Resources:
- Make sure HR systems and policies are in place for defining job roles, recruitment, retention, employee benefits and exit processes.
- Maintaining complete records of all the human resources of the organization.
- Promote good employee culture and positive environment.
- Manage all recruitments end-to-end with the concerned program heads.
- Support all program heads in handling the appraisal system.
- Maintain staff, consultants HR files, attendance registers, leave letters, leave register and insurance related matters.
- Updated staff with reports on leaves, medical benefits and other welfare schemes on quarterly basis.
- Be accountable for all purchases, inventory, stock maintenance, assets and ensure insurance and other safety measures are taken well in advance
Administration:
- Assist Managing Trustee and Executive director in all admin related matters.
- Assisting ED and the Board in keeping track of the board proceedings, meetings and the related paperwork in place.
- Handling communication on Board related activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Support all program teams in managing logistics for training and other program related events.
- Manage staff travel, accommodation and other admin related matters.
- Asset maintenance and quarterly mapping of all the DF assets.
- Ensure overall building maintenance and security matters of the Foundation.

Experience:

4. Assistant Program Manager – Updeshak (Full time)
Location: Bangalore, but involves travel as per Project requirements.
Purpose of the Job:
Strengthen governance in NGOs by bringing diversity and expertise to NGO Boards from the corporate and professional world, as well as works to enhance effectiveness of existing Board members through training and close handholding.
Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with NGOs in various states, convincing them about need for better governance, enrolling them for our capacity-building programmes and delivering the sessions for them.
- Handholding, monitoring and carrying out assessments for partner NGOs.
Ensure Updeshak fellows to join the Organization boards and support and contribute in the NGO development.
- Follow ups after the training and support fellows to participate in the organization board meetings.
- Create Updeshak profiles of fellows for partner organizations.
- Maintain regular communication between the NGO leaders and Updeshak fellows to build relationships & document efforts.
- Assisting in other activities of Updeshak and other programmes of Dhwani Foundation.

5. Senior Associate – Technology Solutions (Full time)
Location: Bangalore, but involves travel as per Project requirements.
Purpose of the Job:
Help NGOs in the implementation of Goonjan cloud-based MIS platform to bring in efficiency & transparency in their operations. Promote Goonjan and contribute to enhance it with NGO friendly features.
Responsibilities:
- Develop knowledge about the Goonjan Cloud based Platform to be able to independently implement the MIS for partners.
- Should have the experience of engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, and providing customized workable solutions.
- Should be able to document Business requirements for any new development in Goonjan.
- Should be able to translate the Business requirements to Functional specifications for the development team.
- Should be inquisitive to explore & research for any existing open source or other suitable software already available for new features.
- Participate in architecture & design discussions with software development team.
- Contribute to helping standardize processes, documentation, developing user manuals and the like.
- Should engage in testing of new version releases of Goonjan.

6. Master Trainer- Niranthara-Sahayak (Full time)
Location: Bangalore based, with frequent travels across project states.
Purpose of the Job:
- Guide, mentor and support leadership group and team members or Niranthara- Sahayak partner organizations. Build their capacities to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness to make significant impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals, groups and communities that they work with.
- Towards this end, design, develop resource materials and deliver appropriate training and capacity building programs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal and external teams in developing, scheduling and delivering training programme and ensure better co-ordination and mutual support.
- Identify and assess the training needs of NGO partner leaders and team members with field visits and other methods.
- Develop appropriate training materials, approved manuals, reference materials and hand outs based on the broad content of N-S program model for the participants.
- Analyze manuals, handouts, reference materials to identify gaps and recommend any changes or addition of topics or subjects.
- Identify and implement effective and purposeful preparation and training delivery methods and tools to promote optimum learning.
- Develop integrated training calendar for multiple batches and ensure that the approved training calendar is shared with partner NGOs and adhered to training timelines.
- Ensure high level of engagement and participation by trainees in the workshops and other activities.
- Develop resource pool of resource organizations, domain area specialists, resource persons for different subject areas.
- Set ongoing assessment and improvement mechanisms to ensure all NGOs score minimum of 85% against Niranthara-Sahayak results framework and parameters.
- Keep abreast with the trends and developments and upgrade subject knowledge and skills in the OD space and integrate in training and workshops.
- Contribute to developing plans and budgets for the month/quarter and ensure that all training and workshops are delivered and managed as per plan and within the approved budget.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly report and submit to Head, Training and review performances on quarterly basis.
Experience:
- 10 years of work experience in the social sector. At least 5 years of direct work experience with a program implementing NGO.
- Handling responsibilities in content development and conducting trainings, programme planning, monitoring and evaluation.

8. Senior Fundraising Manager (Full time)

- Evangelize OD and small, medium & rural NGOs.
- Raise funds for DF programs and for DF’s partners.
