India Fellow Social Leadership Program

India Fellow Social Leadership program helps young people become socially conscious leaders of tomorrow and in the process helps them discover what they are truly meant to accomplish in life. This however is easier said than done. In the 18 months that follow, the India Fellows spend 17 months working full time on demanding host assignments in challenging setups, recording observations and reflections, complete training assignments and at the same time engage deeply with their cohort and mentors. Just like “Samundra Manthan” it takes grit, courage and determination to go through the India Fellows program. But in the end these will be the most memorable 18 months of their lives”, says Rahul Nainwal, co-founder.
We are glad that you want to apply to be a part of India Fellow 2022 Cohort. Please ensure the following is true before proceeding:
- You are between 20 to 30 years of age
- You are already a graduate (in any discipline) or will be before the fellowship begins i.e. 15th July 2022
- You are ready for an 18-month full time commitment to the fellowship
- You understand that this is not just a job and will expect you to be engaged 24X7 with the local community in India
- You understand that you can be placed in any part of India and in any thematic area (outside your hometown)
- You have read, understood and align with the philosophy and values of India Fellow as per our website
Meet the Commune
The India Fellow Program imbibes the ethos of a commune; the ownership of its growth is the responsibility of everyone engaged. The program team for the core operations and strategy of the fellowship is made up of us – the commune; it cuts across cohorts, geography, academic disciplines and personalities. In nature, the doorway or an amalgamation between two things is where the land is most fertile. This vibrant community of fellows who come back to do their bit for the program is what gives India Fellow its characteristic style, which is personal and friendly and yet full of field rigor, development perspectives, commitment and constant peer feedback.
