International Resources for Fairer Trade (IRFT) was established under the Bombay Public Trust Act in 1995. It is a non-profit organization that represents the marginalized, underprivileged sections of the society, specially the most vulnerable ends of the supply chain- the producer and the consumer. IRFT has been working at the intersection of business and development for the last 25 years, giving farmers and artisans access to mainstream markets, enhancing livelihoods in a sustained and holistic way. While encouraging corporates to instill social responsibility and transparency into their core values, IRFT upholds, intervenes and actively engages, with all stakeholders to ensure ‘Continuous Improvement’ of a clean and fair supply chain.

Qualifications: Preferably a Graduate or Post graduate in social work or Agriculture Experience: 1 or 2 years only
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop, prepare, coordinate and execute Trainings, Proposals and Reports
• Communicating with target beneficiary and build relationships
• Monitor projects on a daily basis & regular follows ups with stakeholder/target beneficiary
• Identifying funding opportunities for IRFT
• Create and maintain project documentation • Handling Social Media Platforms of the Organisation
• Reporting to Executive Projects- Community Business Services
Other requirements:
• Very good spoken and written communication skills (English)
• Ability to communicate in local languages (Hindi / Marathi / Gujarati) is preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power point)
