The ILSS Fundraising Program
Continuing ILSS’s commitment to building capacity in the social sector, the ILSS Fundraising Program is a rigorous virtual learning course specifically designed for fundraising professionals.
The Program is the first of its kind in India: a platform forin-depth engagement with leaders in the field, fostering strong networks, and knowledge-building through contextual study. Through the course of the Program, participants will cover a comprehensive curriculum through a wide range of approaches, carrying forward vital skills and lasting connections.
It is with great excitement that we announce the fourth edition of the ILSSFundraising Program, an online learning course aimed to equip social sector leaders and fundraising professionals with the skills needed to effectively raise funds for greater impact.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Build fundraising skills in an experiential manner through case studies, simulations, group activities, pitching and role-playing with personal guidance and assessment by domain experts
Gain fundraising insights from experts across multiple channels by discussing best practices, understanding the Indian funding landscape, and the varied requirements of organizations at specific stages of growth
Get exposed to emerging trends and practices such as resource-based fundraising, venture philanthropy, impact bonds, retail fundraising, and more
Craft a unique narrative and formulate successful fundraising strategies to carry forward to your context

Weekly Engagement
Designed as a learning experience alongside full-time work commitments, the Program includes live sessions, interactive workshops, and curated resource materials. Participants cover a comprehensive research-backed curriculum spanning over four months.
WHO CAN APPLY
Founders and/or Chief Fundraisers of small and medium Social Purpose Organizations (at least 3 years in operation)
Fundraising/Development Professionals of large SPOs and NGOs
Experienced Social Sector Professionals (at least 5 years of experience in the sector)
Alumni from the ILSS Leadership Program
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants must register on the ILSS website, and complete the online application form. Selected applicants will then be invited to a virtual interview.
Program Fee: INR 1L + 18% GST, for which need-based scholarships are available. The fee also includes 1 year of membership benefits for the Network of Fundraising Professionals.
Those applying for scholarships must submit their applications by Sunday, 13th February, 2022. All applications must be submitted by Sunday, 27th February, 2022. Applications are processed on a rolling basis.
