RightWalk Foundation’s core mission involves driving Equity, Inclusion & Social Justice by co-shaping public policies and translating them into action. We practice Systems Thinking approach for institutional reform by partnering with system leadership, lawmakers and communities. We work closely with the State Government and have been instrumental in unlocking RTE 12.1(c) policy in the State thereby impacting over 2.30 lakh children from vulnerable communities in the last five years.

1. Chief Growth Officer (CGO) Organization

Purpose of the Role The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will work with the Senior Management and the CEO to support the fundraising initiatives of the organization. S/he will identify and research suitable new prospects – foundations, corporates and individuals – for RWF, and cultivate these relationships on behalf of the organization. This role involves working with teams across RWF’s key focus areas. This role will report to the CEO.

1. Work closely with the CEO to develop a fundraising strategy for supporting RightWalk’s programs

2. Identify and research suitable new prospects – foundations, corporates and individuals – for RWF, and cultivate these relationships on behalf of the organization

3. Manage the end-to-end fundraising cycle with each prospective donor: Identifying high-value, prospective donors, initiating leads, calls and meetings, making presentations, writing proposals and closing agreements

4. Create tools, systems and processes to manage the past/current/plausible donor base of the organization and create yearlong funder pipeline

5. Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about RWF’s work

6. Coordinate with Strategic Communication Team to organize fundraising events for the organization (including digital campaigns)

7. Collaborate with the operations and communications team to draft proposals, applications, reports, and updates for current and prospective supporter

8. Create budgets for new projects with support from the Strategy and Finance team and support the program team in program management

9. Analyze and use data from M&E to create high quality impact reports for supporting board level reviews, creating grant applications and for external communications

10. Represent RWF and be a visible part of a successful organization at forums involving stakeholders such as other non-profits, foundation and government agencies

11. Review and advice on communication materials including website, brochures, posters, infographics and other print and digital collateral material, as required

12. Represent RWF’s fundraising externally, and enjoy visibility in an impactful organization

13. Prepares presentation by evaluating text, graphics, and binding and coordinating printing

14. Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases

15. Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

• Post Graduate in a relevant field. Candidates with an MBA will be preferred, but not essential

• 4 to 5 years of fundraising/business development experience

• Top-shelf research skills

• Ability to understand the needs of both the agency in need of funding and the organization that is offering the grant money

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively, without support staff and with little supervision

• Strong planning and organizational skills, and an ability to be able to set priorities, plan timelines and meet deadlines

• Experience of working with a wide range of funders – including high net worth individuals, foundations and CSR roles will be considered as relevant background

• Good track record of maintaining key donor relationships as well as establishing new partnerships

• Proven experience of negotiating with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally

• Ability to craft compelling opportunities for a wide range of potential supporters

Purpose of the Role
RWF have grown in the past years both internally and externally. We are a young organization and are very serious about processes and compliances. The Manager, HR & OD is a new role within the organization that will provide insight and analysis across the team. To build on revenue growth and deliver to organization’s strategic targets, the post will help RWF understand its market, context, and donors, empowering fundraisers and leadership to make effective decision-making and ensure external partnerships and donor relationships are effective and in line with organizational values. The profile will be based in Lucknow.

Position Summary

The Manager, HR & OD is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the CEO and Executive Team and managing the organization’s office operations. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

1. Recruitment and On-Boarding

• Conduct end to end recruitment cycle – sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, salary negotiation, performing reference checks when required, offer roll up, post offer follow up.

• Ensure structured and smooth on-boarding formalities, induction and orientation of new recruits

• Handle and maintain employee database

• Ensure collection and maintenance of required documentation and maintenance of all

• HR records Intern management – Oversee the development and implementation of the internship programme Build talent pipeline through alternate sources/innovative methods by foreseeing the organizational needs

2. Employee management

• Ensure effective implementation of day-to-day operations in the organization

• Timely, responsive and accurate closure of all HR operational issues Handle employee counseling, grievances and employee relations

• Drive employee engagement initiatives

• Help the management conduct performance appraisals of the employees, assess and fulfill training and career development requirements.

• Ensure all offer letters, confirmation letters, increment letters, promotion letters, ID Cards, etc. are issued to employees on time

• Track and maintain leave management and other requests of the employees

3. Training and development / Learning and development

• Work with the Management to build key processes that will improve the overall communication and work efficiency of the organization

• Help in the development of the organization’s culture consistent with philosophy, strategic direction, imperatives, values and ethics

• Help build a learning culture to help skill up the employees to take newer and larger roles

• Identify training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, performance appraisals and regular consultation with the department heads.

• Identify suitable trainers for internal and external training programs and coordinate with them

• Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of team work

4. Exit Formalities

• Conduct exit interviews and facilitate smooth relieving process

• Obtain constructive feedback for the organization and implement corrective measures accordingly

• Post-graduate degree in Human Resource Management

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in human resource management

• Must have good people management and interpersonal skills

• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in recruiting for various positions and levels, preferably in social sector

• High level of fluency in English, medium fluency in Hindi

Purpose of the Role
As a Research Analyst at RightWalk, you will take work upon complex research projects independently within our vision framework. You will proactively understand the context of the research ask, primarily around public policies, and deliver actionable insights for RWF’s proposals for growth, expansion and internal development initiatives. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of the Practice Area to RWF’s Strategy and Growth team.

1. Work closely with the Senior Management to curate an exhaustive list of tentative public policies for the organization to work upon. This will be done in alignment with the organization’s vision & mission

2. Design the research metrics for evaluating the policies

3. Evaluate the policies and create a detailed comparative evaluation document

4. Share insights while analysing the comparative evaluation document

5. Create a relevant pitch document & operational plan around the finalized policy for presenting it to the Government and other stakeholders

6. Support in identification of potential strategy areas, developing proposals and undertaking meaningful research to support expansion across policies, in collaboration with operations & communication team

7. Support secondary research for research projects and project implementation

8. Assist/Help the Lead in data analysis for various projects and reports.

9. Support outreach activities such as preparing discussion papers, brochures, writing online posts, etc.

10. Create budgets for new projects with support from the Strategy and Finance team and support the program team in program management

11. You will deliver high-quality research on inbound (and curated) research requests for strategy teams

12. Identify opportunities to deliver “beyond-the-ask” and to deliver more dimension with coordination with seniors in the team

1. Post Graduate in Public Policy, Development Studies or relevant field.

2. 2 to 5 years of experience working in the public policy space. Experience of working with government will be preferred

In addition, he/she will be responsible for managing all communication channels of the organization and positioning it as an influencer and implementer of public policies promoting equity, inclusion and justice. This role involves working with teams across RWF’s key focus areas. This role will report to the CEO.

Communications Strategy

1. Deliver and develop the strategic communications plan to support the Foundation’s objectives, extend awareness of its work and increase its reach into key areas and training sector and other audience groups

2. Devise communications plans around all the active programs/projects of the organization

3. Work with the management team and staff to identify potential internal and external communications opportunities and threats; proactively identify appropriate strategies to manage them

4. Serve as a communications adviser to the organization’s management team

5. Conceptualizing and implementing the organization’s communications plan that includes design and dissemination of RWF’s knowledge collaterals and key accomplishments

6. Preparing editorial calendar and managing content and outreach for RWF’s digital properties including the website updates, blog, newsletters, videos and social media channels

7. Managing RWF brand assets and brand toolkit and updating the same on a regular basis

Communications Operations

1. Writing blogs, create videos, articles for internal newsletters and opinion editorials for external media outlets.

2. Networking and developing strategic relationships with media and key ecosystem influencers.

3. Evaluate and apply relevant and innovate communication tools and dissemination methods to maximize content engagement and increase key message efficacy

4. Oversee the prioritization and delivery of all of organization’s communications including Press and PR activity, all print communications, digital communications and activities relating to stakeholder relationship management

5. Work with individual programme directors/managers to agree communications frameworks for delivery partners working on tendered projects: establish areas of responsibility for communications on projects delivered by partners, agree reporting and evaluation measures, monitor activity

Management

1. Ensure accountability of delivery on achievement of pre-defined outcomes

2. Ensure accountability of delivery of programs and a focus on improving quality of outcomes

3. Support professional development and talent planning across the team.

4. Undertake all administrative tasks necessary to ensure the effective delivery of specified tasks to agreed deadlines.

5. Ensure effective and economic manpower planning for operational management

6. Drive a culture of coaching and mentorship to facilitate capacity building of team

7. Coordinate with outside agencies for website design/ development/ maintenance and marketing materials for RWF

Required Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Communication or Management with knowledge of the social sector

• 5 to 7 years of work experience with demonstrated success in communications, influencer outreach, public relations

Required Skills and Abilities

• Experience in growing and managing team members.

• High level of fluency in English, medium fluency in Hindi.

• Ability to create content using Canva, Microsoft Presentation, Word and Publisher
