In Continuation to the series of Sewa Samwaad, We feel glad to invite you to our next session of Sewa Samwaad with Shri Mahesh Sharma Ji (Padmashree Awardee).
Sewa Samwaad is a global platform of development and growth to share personal stories of change and experiences of causing notable evolution. Development practitioners and veteran leaders inspire the next generation of innovative, and direct social development efforts and initiatives. We aim to nurture a community of problem-solvers and curate ideas for serving humanity. With participants from 25+ countries, we also hope these sessions would play a part in causing a domino effect towards innovation, progress and formation of ideas, community and development.
Mahesh Sharma Ji is a Padmashree awardee. His work is something that has ignited curiosity among our minds. By uniting the tribal of the Jhabua area he started a water conservation mission called Shivganga mission to solve the issue of water at Jhabua. The community of Jhabua together constructed 1,11,000+ water structures through public participation. As a result, millions of liters of water were harvested in the ground and it increased the groundwater level. In addition, 5000+ small water structures have been constructed in 350+ villages.
Jhabua is a community-driven cultural society that is thriving and has become a model of change through the Conservation of resources. To hear the story from the man behind the possible change himself, Join Sewa Samwaad.
Sewa Samwaad is open to any individual who is keen on learning about the development and social sectors. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible and sow seeds of wisdom and expansion.
