Program Manager-Pratapgarh – Shrushti Seva Samiti

Shrushti Seva Samiti is a not-for-profit organization with Special Consultative Status in United Nation Economic Social Council (UN ECOSOC) and an ISO 9001:2008 certified non-profit, non-government and non-religious voluntary organization operating in the rural, urban, tribal and far-flung habitations with a key focus area on Education, Environment, Mother & Child Care, Livelihood, Water & Sanitation, Women empowerment & Skill development training, seamlessly connects grassroots development in a holistic way.

Currently, Organization is operational in 25 districts of 4 states named Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh in above mentioned thematic areas with a team of over 900 personnel. Currently, we are actively working with 1.2 rural households with reach up to 6.1 million people.

Key Responsibilities S/he will regularly interact with the deployed POSHAN Champions and will be their administrative managers. S/he will guarantee the quality of work produced by POSHAN Champions, visit the field sites, conduct a review of PC activities, document key achievements, and share these with the RajPusht district team.

Roles and responsibilities assigned to POSHAN Champions are as follows:

• Ensure coverage of beneficiaries as per target (monthly/ quarterly/ yearly) decided in consultation with RajPusht team
• Review POSHAN Champion’s work on a monthly basis through meetings and field visits
• Review PC’s data entry on RajPusht MIS through routine field visits and record matching
• Mentor POSHAN Champion for community mobilization and volunteer programme
• Provide supportive supervision, wherever needed, to POSHAN Champions
• Identify platforms to ensure MIYCN messages under RajPusht are disseminated in the community
• Plan for engagement with indirect but important stakeholders such as PRI, SHGs leaders etc, and train POSHAN Champions to take this up
• Interact regularly with Block Program Managers- RajPusht and District Program Manager-RajPusht for implementation feedback; work closely with the District Information & Data Manager (DIDM) to ensure that any qualitative feedback f data captured by the POSHAN Champions is relayed to the cadre for improved performance
• Develop and publish case studies of successes achieved in RajPusht through POSHAN Champion’s ministrations in villages and the communities in important and well-read platforms at all levels
• Prepare project reports to share with RajPusht team
• Support district team in organizing client visits, exposure visits etc, as designed during the course of the project

Role Requirement:

Essential

• Graduate, preferably in Social Sciences / MSW / BSc in Home-Science / BSc or MSc in Nutrition / MBA
• Four years’ experience of working with any development projects/programs
• At-least 2 years’ experience in implementing any project related to health & Nutrition at block level
• Knowledge and skill of Excel functions (Data Entry, Data Compilation, Data Analysis etc.)
• Excellent networking and documentation skills
• At least 2 wheelers driving license is a must as an intensive field visit to the village is required Desirable
• Working experience with the health department or ICDS
• Experience of working on Direct Benefit Transfer program
• Experience in implementing community mobilization activities
• Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Integration, vLookups, etc.)

Emolument: Between 3.6 Lakh to 4.5 Lakh CTC depending on the experience of the candidate and last drawn salary.
