Salary : Based on industry standards & prior experience

Travel : 10 days in a month based on project requirement

1. Program Manager

Reporting : Partner Expected

Duties and Responsibilities Project description –Training to students and teachers for using Tablets for bridging learning gaps, targets Students, & Parents of 20 Government Schools to improve the numeracy and literacy rate through the digital mode of teaching thereby increasing the level of proficiency and contributing to enhancement in learning.

The Project is being implemented in the State of Tamilnadu (District: Nilgiris,Pandalur).

  • Ensure functional literacy and numeracy among children (from grade 6 to grade 8) using tablets and improve basic skills of reading, writing and basic arithmetic
  • Improve digital literacy skills among students and engage them in continuous learning process
  • Capacity building of teachers and HMs in leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences through systematic training and continuous in-class support
  • Enhance community engagement in child’s education process through organized community mobilization, enrolment and awareness drives. Manage local relationship with education department officers, school head masters, teachers and other stakeholders. Job Description
  • Support the leadership team and all the Resource persons in goals setting for each school and plan roadmap for enhancing the learning outcome of all the students.
  • Support & Guide Resource Person in curriculum development and assessments. Prepare Monthly,Quarterly, Annual Report and its timely submission.

Required skills and experience Education:

  • Master’s Degree preferably in Business Administration, SocialWork, Education, or related field

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of education in development projects (Education/Skilling/Technology).
  • Proven programming skills, especially in the development of monthly and quarterly reports using database/excel sheet
  • Experience of working with state/ central government, school systems, etc. will be preferred
  • Expertise in analyzing data in excel sheet.
  • Strong training & facilitation skills

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Tamil.

2. Resource Person

Reporting : Program Manager.

  • Planning and executing lessons that demonstrate rigor and model the vision for the subject/ grade Job Description
  • Creating an ambitious vision and goals forstudents in the Online Mode
  • Continuously improving own practice through research, mentorship and self-created learning opportunities
  • Communicating with and investing key stakeholders like the HM, teachers and parents into the vision for students.
  • Collecting holistic data to inform short term and long term plans

Required skills and experience Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Social Work, Education, or related field

Experience:

  • At least 1 years of experience in training or teaching students on IT/ computer. (Education/Skilling/Technology).
  • Expertise in analyzing data in excel sheet.
  • Strong Teaching, training & facilitation skills Language Requirements:
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Tamil.
