The Kakatiya Sandbox DD Fellowship is a 3-month program for anybody with an interest in semi-urban and rural India, and in organizing events/conferences etc. This Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with Kakatiya Sandbox, a not-for-profit dedicated to transforming the socio-economic landscape of rural and semi-urban Telangana, in planning and executing a rural social impact conference,Development Dialogue 2025.

About Kakatiya Sandbox
Kakatiya Sandbox, founded in the year 2013 by Raju Reddy, founder of Sierra Atlantic, and Phanindra Sama, founder of Redbus, works towards driving long-term social impact through innovation and entrepreneurship in North Telangana. The organization focuses on four major areas: Agriculture, Skilling & Education,

Micro-entrepreneurship and Startups. The organization has impacted over 2.75 million lives in the region with its decade-long impact work.

About Development Dialogue
Development Dialogue is an annual conference hosted by Kakatiya Sandbox that brings together experts, practitioners, enthusiasts, and other stakeholders of the social impact space to the town of Nizamabad, Telangana. It is a one-of-its-kind convergence of diverse stakeholders such as farmers and startups, students and entrepreneurs, NGOs and corporate organizations, grassroots practitioners, impact investors, and policymakers.

Fellowship Details

• The role is a full-time Fellowship of 3 months based out of Nizamabad, Telangana.
• Duration: 3 months, starting from Nov to Jan.
• Minimum Qualification: Graduate and post-graduate students and graduates with backgrounds in social sciences, BBA or MBA.
• Compensation: ₹25,000 to 30,000/month.

Skills requirement:
○ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
○ Basic Microsoft Office skills
○ Proficiency in spoken and written English preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

• The fellows will work closely with the Executive Team of Kakatiya Sandbox in designing and implementing Development Dialogue 2025.
• The fellows would be allocated to one or more teams based on skill set fit and team requirements.
• The Fellowship would include opportunities to work on fundraising through CSR and partnerships, planning and production of conferences, designing conference panels, handling digital media and PR, collaborating with panel
  speakers and other guests, and managing local community stakeholders like farmers, students, entrepreneurs, etc.
