organization, that strives to contribute towards national and international development goals, bringing about lasting positive impact in the lives of people, through long term sustainable programmes. The foundation aims to alleviate poverty and achieve inclusive growth and development.

Active community engagement ensures optimal long-term gains and upward accountability. HCL Foundation works through Life Cycle Based, Integrated Community Development Approach with thematic focus on Education, Health, Skill Development & Livelihood, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction & Response. Child protective strategies, inclusion and gender transformative approaches remain central in all initiatives of HCL Foundation, thus ensuring comprehensive development.

Presently HCL Foundation is implementing five flagship programmes, namely HCL Samuday & HCL Grant – Rural Development programmes; HCL Uday & Clean Noida – Urban Development programmes; HCL Harit (The Green Initiative) – Environment Action programme and 4 special initiatives – Power of One, Sports for Change, HCL Foundation Academy and My E-Haat.

About HCL Foundation Academy

Development sector is evolving and best practices need to be shared to achieve a larger impact. There is need for orientation, capacity building and convergence – to get all stakeholders together on one platform, in a meaningful and effective manner. To do this, HCL Foundation has initiated a one of its kind, unique online platform called the HCL Foundation Academy. The initiative is a part of the CSR undertaken by HCL Technologies and seeks to have a global outreach. The Academy would run on a hub and spoke model with ODL – Open Distance Learning – through an LMS – Learning Management System. The course structure will include both theory and practice/ field work along with relevant blogs/ chats/ discussions etc. with renowned experts.

Objectives of the Academy

· To equip participants with an interdisciplinary understanding of thinking and practice on National Development Goals/ Sustainable Development Goals/ Global Goals. It would blend practical experiences and best CSR and development cases/ projects/ practices from across the country, and globally, to help develop an understanding of key issues and responses to various challenges of sustainable development.

· To build capacity among the learners so that they can design and deliver impactful projects on sectors involving human development and environment that are also scalable – national to global.

· To help the learners understand CSR compliances as per the CSR Act (in India) and relevant compliances in other countries.

· To enhance NGO compliance to funder norms – Indian & Global; Accounting, Audit & Taxation, Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 2010 norms etc.

· To promote relevant national and international partnerships/ collaborations between governments, academia, corporates, and civil society.

· To promote responsible media coverage on CSR and development.

Position: Associate Manager – HCL Foundation Academy

Roles & Responsibilities

Under the leadership of Director, HCL Foundation and the assigned personnel, the incumbent’s primary responsibilities will include planning and strategizing the roll out and functioning of HCL Foundation Academy. This would include:

· Identification of potential courses as per the relevant needs of the social development space.

· Support the creation of various courses that will be hosted on the HCL Foundation Academy.

· Identification of thematic experts, NGOs, academicians, consultants, Subject Matter Experts. etc. for running courses and webinars related to the various courses on the online academy

· Preparing roster of guest lectures and webinars.

· Conducting online master classes and coordinating seminars, contact classes, webinars etc.

· Running the back-end and coordinating for all webinars, seminars and online sessions, hosted on the HCL Foundation Academy.

· Planning and rolling out a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure visibility of the HCL Foundation Academy across various relevant platforms.

· Preparing mailers and collaterals for all HCL Foundation Academy related communication, organizing events, seminars etc.

· Collating case studies, stories of transformation, testimonials from various stakeholders.

· Ensuring global reach for the online Academy by networking with Universities, Academicians and organizations from across the world.

· Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge database and repository of the courses, research papers, certifications, rankings etc. that could be relevant for the Online Academy platform.

· Maintaining a comprehensive database of all activities, updates and information related to the HCL Foundation Academy for M&E purposes.

· Providing support to address the queries of all learners registered on the HCL Foundation Academy.

Attributes and Experience

· Excellent track record of having worked in the area of education technology with 8-10 years of experience in managing E-learning platforms, LMS, academic services and delivery.

· Well versed with platforms like Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas with experience of running virtual classrooms.

· Ability to deliver on time, independently, to work with a range of stakeholders, including ability to perform in a corporate environment and present the work at various forums.

· Experience of managing complex and time-sensitive processes.

· Capacity to create presentations and design concepts for showcasing the work of HCL Foundation Academy

Qualifications and Skills

· Masters/M. Phil in Social Work, Education, Social Sciences or allied areas.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

· Must have sound documentation capabilities.

· Excellent networking and partnership management skills

Salary Range: Salary commensurate with experience.
