NTH is India’s largest multi-location multidisciplinary industrial central government’s testing laboratory dealing with almost all sorts of testing, calibration and quality evaluation related to industry, commerce, trade etc. as per international and national standards. At present National Test House is providing facilities like testing, evaluation, and calibration of raw materials as well as finished products to the end users through its branches established at Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Ghaziabad, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Varanasi .

National Test House, under Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and PD, invites applications from Young
Graduates/Post graduates to offer services on contract basis as detailed below.

Name of the Service Sr. Young Professional (Technical)

Essential Qualification  B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

Experience At least 03 years work experience on Python / MySQL / Java / Java script. Must have worked independently on a project having real time data dashboard and requiring maintenance of data integrity with back end validations.

Location of the vacancy/Job profile  Ghaziabad/to work on the existing software (maintenance, trouble-shooting and development), as well as development of new software for future IT projects as per the requirement of the organization

2. Sr. Young Professional (Technical)

Essential Qualification 

1. A qualified Food Analyst as per the requirement of Rule 2.1.4 of the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011.

2. E.Q – Master’s in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Dairy Chemistry or Bachelor/Masters in Food Technology / Food and Nutrition/ Dairy Technology from a recognized University

3.Desirable:- Doctorate Degree in relevant field

Experience

Minimum 03 years in the analysis of food in any ISO/IEC:17025 accredited food testing laboratory/research institutions/ research laboratory.

Guwahati/ To carry out testing of Food Samples and assist other working Scientists. Regular maintenance and operation of equipment’s. He/ She will also be engaged for creation of new test facilities, maintaining FSSAI recognition for Food Products as per the requirements of FSSAI in Chemical and microbiological laboratories

3. Jr. Young Professional (Technical)

Essential Qualification MSc (Microbiology) or B Tech in Industrial Microbiology from a recognised University or Institute.

Experience Minimum 01 year in Microbiological testing

4. Jr. Young Professional (Management) 

Essential Qualification: MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from a recognised University/ institution.

Desirable: Proficiency in English, Technical aptitude and ability to use web-based tools

Experience Minimum 01 year of work experience preferably in an MNC

1. Age: Not exceeding 35 years for Jr. Young Professional and 38 years for Sr. Young Professional posts as on the
last date of submission of application.

2. Tenure: 01 years for all the posts (Extendable upto a maximum of 04 years on satisfactory performance in
the previous year)

3. Remuneration:

• For Sr. Young Professionals: ₹ 70,000/- per month(consolidated) which shall be enhanced by ₹ 5000/- every year in case of extension of tenure.
• For Jr. Young Professionals: ₹ 40,000/- per month(consolidated) which shall be enhanced by ₹ 5000/- every year in case of extension of tenure.

4. The assignment is purely contractual and can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side at any
point in time. However, NTH may terminate individual YP without giving prior notice, in case of breach of
provision/terms of contract.

5. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending selection process/ joining of assignment or on its completion.
