Dhwani Rural Information Systems (RIS) is a Delhi NCR, India headquartered 7+-year-old social/development sector-focused advisory and consulting firm. With a robust team of 100+ ICT4D professionals, Dhwani RIS develops IT applications for NGOs, Government functionaries, CSRs, International Funding Organizations, etc. to manage their projects and programs in India and abroad.

Job Overview:
The analyst will work as a member of the Dhwani Project Management Unit (PMU) and will be deputed in one of the project locations. They will contribute significantly to project monitoring and reporting through technology tools, ensure effective communication across stakeholders and data integrity, and conduct capacity building within the client’s partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination with Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) and external stakeholders:

  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between the Dhwani PMU and the Monitoring and Impact (MI) unit of the client to ensure alignment of monitoring activities with project goals and objectives.

Data reporting supervision:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project monitoring tools, reporting formats and indicators.
  • Collaborate with the central Monitoring & Impact (MI) team to ensure 100% data reporting on the technology platforms for the agreed project indicators.
  • Monitor overall progression and maintain clear communication between the Dhwani team and the client.
  • Monitor the performance and productivity of field workers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Facilitate project and field data sharing with the research organizations (baseline and impact assessment partners)
  • Supervise data collection facilitated by the research organizations.

Training and Capacity Building:

  • Provide guidance and support to field workers, including training on data collection methods, monitoring tools, and reporting requirements.
  • Actively participate in the training programs conducted by the research organizations.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), software engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience of 1-2 years in technical tasks associated with online tools, technologies and IT platforms.
  • 2-3 years of exposure to a social/development sector-focused organization such as an NGO, social impact consulting firm, CSR, think tank, or a research organization.

Key Skills

  • Understanding of Theory of Change (ToC), Results Framework (RF), log frame
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Good coordination skills in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Understanding of monitoring and evaluation (preferred)
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel.

Location Adaptability:

  • We are looking for the suited candidates from these outlined locations: Guwahati, Lucknow, Bangalore, Indore, Noida, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
  • This role will involve a hybrid work model with frequent field travel.
