Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical public health, agriculture, education, and urban development issues in underserved communities in the global south. SUMMARY
We are looking to hire an experienced Documentation Specialist to join the Communications Team based out of New Delhi. S/he will be responsible for leading the textual documentation efforts of the team to represent the organization’s work across mediums like donor reports, brochures, newsletters, posters, storyboards, and slide decks amongst other things.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write documentation reports for donors and partners, including bi-monthly reports, quarterly reports, and annual reports
- Edit reports and other documents created within the organization
- Write textual content for brochures, posters, banners, graphics and other collaterals for solutions across the organization
- Create compelling slide decks featuring the organization and its body for work for external stakeholders
- Conceptualise and create monthly newsletters with high-level updates for external stakeholders
- Create engaging long-form articles around AI and social impact for the org website and LinkedIn handle
Manage the organization’s website
- Give design briefs to the creative team to transform text content into compelling graphic collaterals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to get progress updates for documentation efforts
REQUIREMENTS
- 7 to 10 years of experience in journalism/content creation/communications in the corporate or development sector
- Proven experience in writing donor reports and creating newsletters, brochures, and other collaterals
- Can proofread and copy-edit documents (like MEL reports, donor reports, and other technical documents) to make them more readable
- Experience in working with Content Management Systems and creating SEO-friendly content
- Experience in creating visually appealing and concise slide decks
- Experience in giving creative briefs and overseeing the design of graphics and print collaterals
- Can work in a fast-paced environment
- Can handle frequent coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Can work independently and adhere to timelines
- Excellent communication skills.
