ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY – SENIOR MANAGER, DESIGN

For over a decade, Medha has been delivering unique experiential learning programs to young people in the ‘Hindi-belt.’

Based on the Four Cs of 21st-century skills – communications, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking – our programs aim to prepare young people to start and excel in diverse career paths of their choice.

What does the role expect: 

This position will need you to excel in a few domains. Some of the main areas of work include:

  • Program Design Lifecycle Management: Execute the entire lifecycle of human-centric design projects – from understanding how different people learn, conceptualizing, and developing impactful programs to owning the continuous improvement cycle from analyzing data, reflecting on results, and building iterations.
  • Program Documentation: Develop high-quality program collaterals for a blended learning experience, both student and facilitator material, and ensure the transfer of program knowledge to the implementation team.
  • Capacity Building: Design and conduct training programs for program teams for facilitation, pedagogy, classroom management etc. for effective implementation of their role. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to design and learning.Create and maintain design guidelines, templates, and documentation for program materials and resources.Work closely with content developers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to effectively incorporate design elements.

Skills required to deliver on the expectations:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams from different departments.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with design principles, user-centered design, and accessibility standards.
  • Knowledge of learning theories, instructional design, and educational technology is a plus.
  • Passionate about empowering youth, education, and creating social impact.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking ability, with attention to detail and aesthetics.

The ideal candidate has the following capabilities:

  • Execute the entire lifecycle of human-centric design projects.

  • Document and transfer key elements of the program to facilitators, etc.
