Project Swabhimaan
Problem Statement(s):

  1. An identified disparity exists between the registration of laborers, predominantly engaged in Brick Kilns, under the BOCW Act and its effective implementation.
  2. The lack of accessibility to an educational ecosystem for the offspring of Migrant Workers, predominantly employed in Brick Kilns, poses a significant challenge.

Solution
Neev ki Eent Foundation aims to address the challenges faced by brick kiln laborers by implementing a comprehensive solution. The strategy involves the establishment of Akshar Learning Centres (ALCs) within identified clusters of operational brick kilns, facilitated by trained Swabhiman Fellows. These fellows will conduct household surveys to identify gaps in entitlements under the BOCW Act, using a tool developed by  Neev ki Eent.

The progress of children attending ALCs will be monitored using the ASER tool, and identified gaps will be communicated to the District Administration. Neev ki Eent will collaborate with relevant departments to bridge these gaps through community mobilization and focused camps.

Neev ki Eent Foundation Embark on a transformative journey with us as we implement Project Swabhimaan in Rohtas, Bihar. This dynamic opportunity offers a chance to co-create solutions alongside our visionary co founders and District Administration.
