Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Field Manager to join our team for the project titled “Grassland Restoration for People, Carbon, Biodiversity in Western Maharashtra” under the Centre for Policy Design.

Qualifications
Should have completed graduation in social sciences or environmental studies

Language proficiency: Marathi and English

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the ATREE team and their field partners on progress of restoration work
• Execute 3 types of field activities-

Meetings and interviews with

(i) Gram Panchayats  (ii) local communities (iii) Forest departments on the plans and issues of grassland restoration

Site surveys for recording land use, ecological parameters in chosen sites

Nursery development and monitoring

Joint report writing with ATREE and their partners
