Transgender Welfare Equity and Empowerment Trust (TWEET) Foundation is a non-profit community led organizations working for the trans* and non-binary trans* people in India. The organization is registered under Mumbai Charity Commissioner Act and working on various trans* welfare & leadership needs. The organization offices are situated in Mumbai and Delhi NCR. It is closely working closely with Ministry of Government departments, corporate CSR houses and various international funding agencies. 1. CSR engagement, Business Development and Organizational Branding
CSR engagement, Business Development and Organizational Branding of TWEET Foundation is a consultancy role responsible for the CSR engagement, business development, and organizational branding. The person will be directly responsible for bringing the corporate donations, new projects, organisational branding and support in CSR network initiatives. It’s a target driven position and subject to continuation further for another year based on the four-month performance.
Consultancy position: CSR engagement, Business Development and Organizational Branding Organization: Transgender Welfare Equity and Empowerment Trust (TWEET) Foundation Location: Delhi / Mumbai (remote – with travel for the corporate engagements meetings 40%) Period: Four months (December 2023 – March 2024)
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate with minimum 02-03 years’ experience marketing and CSR engagement role ▪ Good understanding on trans* and LGB rights and work in India.
- Experience on business development, partner management and donor engagements. ▪ Deep marketing and business development knowledge and experience
- Experience working on the intense target driven job.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding on the computer and AI applications.
- Managing corporate events
Roles and Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential funding sources, partners, and opportunities aligned with the organization mission and goals.
- Analyse trends in the NGO sector, corporate social responsibility, and philanthropy to stay informed about potential collaborations and funding avenues.
Proposal Development:
- Lead the development of compelling proposals and grant applications tailored to the requirements of various funding organizations.
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of proposal content.
Partnership Building:
- Identify and engage potential partners, including corporations, foundations, government agencies, and other NGOs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Networking:
Represent TWEET Foundation at relevant conferences, events, and networking opportunities to promote the organization and explore potential collaborations. Build a network of key contacts within the philanthropic and corporate sectors. 5. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, proposals, and funding
- Renumeration
- 60 K monthly + 10% incentive for the business generated

2. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The CEO of TWEET Foundation is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s strategic direction, operations, and overall impact in fulfilling its mission to empower and support the transgender community in India. The CEO reports directly to the Board of Directors and works collaboratively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners to drive positive change for transgender individuals, with a particular focus on transmen.
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate with minimum 05 years’ experience in the senior management role. ▪ Good understanding on trans* and LGB rights and work in India.
- Experience on business development, partner management and donor engagements. ▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of handling bigger teams.
- Good understanding on the computer and AI applications.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations in India. ▪ The CEO of TWEET Foundation plays a crucial role in advancing the organization’s mission, making a lasting impact on the lives of transgender individuals in India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and goals of TWEET Foundation in alignment with its mission and values.
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the continuous growth and impact of the organization.
Organizational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of programs and services.
- Manage financial resources responsibly, including budgeting, fundraising, and financial reporting.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
Program Development and Implementation:
- Work closely with program heads to design, implement, and evaluate programs that address the unique challenges faced by the transmen community in India.
- Ensure programs align with the organization’s mission and meet the needs of the target population.
Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Represent TWEET Foundation in public forums, engage with government agencies, civil societies, and corporates to advocate for policy-level changes benefiting the transgender community.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance the impact and reach of TWEET Foundation’s initiatives
Resource Mobilization & business development:
- Lead fundraising efforts, including grant applications, donor cultivation, and innovative funding strategies.
- Diversify funding sources to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Community Engagement: foster strong relationships within the transgender community, ensuring that TWEET Foundation remains responsive to their evolving needs.
- Implement community-driven initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing non-profit organizations in India.
- Work closely with legal advisors to navigate legal challenges and changes affecting the organization.
Communication, branding and Public Relations:
- Effectively communicate the organization’s mission, impact, and challenges to diverse audiences.
- Enhance TWEET Foundation’s visibility through media engagements and public relations efforts
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Establish and oversee a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to track program outcomes and impact.
- Use data-driven insights for continuous improvement and adaptation of programs.
Risk mitigation and crisis support:
- Develop and implement crisis response plans to address emergencies affecting the transgender community or the organization.
- Create and monitor the risk reduction plan for the organisation on various risk and create stronger organisational response on risk reduction.
