Power for All is a global campaign to accelerate the deployment of distributed/decentralized renewable energy as the best solution to universal energy access. The campaign aims to transform the ‘’business as usual’ timeline to achieve universal energy access by 2025, at a fraction of currently planned costs and in half the time.
We’re excited to invite you to the next Power for All Agriculture Webinar, titled ‘Empowering Smallholder Farmers: Boosting Agricultural Productivity through Distributed Renewable Energy Policies to Attract Private Sector Investment.’
In light of COP 28, our webinar focuses on expanding global renewable energy through effective policy, regulation, finance, and global collaboration. We’ll delve into how these strategies can transform East Africa’s agricultural sector, and you will hear from top policymakers from Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia as they discuss policy and investment strategies for sustainable food systems and climate impact reduction.
Representing more than 80% of global farmers and producing nearly a third of the world’s food, smallholder farmers are vital to global food systems but they are being heavily impacted by climate change. Our webinar will shed light on and facilitate a discussion on urgent actions required to tackle the food-climate crisis.
