Suryoday Foundation is a sec 8 Not for Profit organization with headquarters in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. We work for promoting inclusive growth of Urban, Rural and Tribal low-income underserved communities and contributing towards their economic and social wellbeing. Our programs are focused on Financial Education, social security benefits, livelihoods and health. We have programs in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. We are recruiting Program Field Executives to work with Domestic workers in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven Field Executives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Field Executive

Base Location: Ghatkopar

Field Operations: Mumbai

Number of Vacancies: 2

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying locations for mobilizing domestic workers
• Collecting baseline information of domestic workers
• Mobilizing them for different initiatives for financial education, Health, livelihoods
• Conducting regular financial education trainings and assisting them for product linkages with banks and post office
• Identifying different resources and leaders in the community who will help in sustaining the program long term
• Maintaining reports and records with quality
• Networking with local organizations, banks and post office
• Achieve the set targets with impact

Skills

• Good communication skills required for training
• Fluent in Marathi and Hindi (reading and writing) with working knowledge of English
• Have positive attitude to work with low-income communities
• Basic Computer literacy must
• Ability to work independently in the slums
• Should be open to use technology

Professional Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Any para-professionals, graduate or post graduate candidates would be preferred
• Essential: 0 – 2 years of experience

This is field based position, willingness to work in the slum community and travel in the slum community
Degree in commerce or finance is not required though the trainings are on Financial Education
