Youth Dreamers Foundation (YDF) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Sec 8 (1) of the Companies Act 2015. One of the most important ways to improve access to higher education is by providing scholarships to needy students. YDF works with all of the stakeholders who have a role to play in the scholarship’s delivery to bring in higher efficiency and efficacy in the system. YDF also supports our scholar alumni to make their higher education journey more relevant to their aspirations.

Position Overview:
We’re hiring two Fundraising Associates: one for Maharashtra and another for Bihar. Key responsibilities include donor resource management, donation processing, database upkeep, and pitch deck creation, supporting our regional expansion efforts.

Overview:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Positions: 2 (Two)
  • Salary: ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 55,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills
  • Probation: Three months
  • Office Working Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Reporting To Director
  • Location: Maharashtra and Bihar
  • Travel: As per the organization’s need

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Cultivation and Engagement:

  • Actively identify and cultivate potential leads within Maharashtra/Bihar, focusing on MSMEs, SSMEs, HNIs, and industries (small, medium, micro).
  • Engage with these entities through direct meetings, events, and personalized communication.

Research and Development (R&D):

  • Conduct extensive research to identify new leads and partnership opportunities in the respective state.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, potential donor interests, and emerging opportunities.

Pitch Development and Presentation:

  • Develop and refine pitch presentations tailored to various programs and potential partners in the respective state.
  • Ensure the pitch is compelling, aligns with the organization’s mission, and meets the specific interests of each potential lead.

Transition Management:

  • Coordinate with other teams for a smooth handover and implementation of partnerships.

Strategic Planning:

  • Generate and implement strategies for lead identification and engagement in the respective state.

Networking and Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the respective state.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Efficiently manage a detailed database of donor organizations in the respective state.
  • Keep accurate records of interests, contributions, and past communications for targeted follow-ups and tailored engagement.

Proposal Creation:

  • Craft detailed and persuasive proposals for potential donors and partners, outlining the benefits and impact of supporting the organization.
  • Tailor each proposal to the specific interests and requirements of the targeted entity, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and the potential donor’s values.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience of 2-3 years in fundraising, business development, or a similar field, with a focus on lead generation and relationship management.
  • Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or a similar field, with a focus on lead generation and relationship management.
  • Excellent research, strategic planning, and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in creating and presenting persuasive pitches.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the respective state for lead generation and meetings.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with fluency in English and the state’s regional language preferred.
