With the philosophy of creating safe spaces, Pehlay Akshar works with students and teachers across India, partners with State Governments and implements programs that change how students learn, and teachers teach in schools. In response to COVID, #AStoryADay was launched that provides English stories to children to improve their English skills from home. It brings cheer and learning through simple stories. Head to http://www.astoryaday.in/ to volunteer today! In partnership with SCERT (Maharashtra), Pehlay Akshar Foundation also launched Magic Classroom, a virtual classroom based on the Maharashtra State Board Textbooks for students of 1st to 8th grade across English and Vernacular mediums. It helps children continue learning from homes during this pandemic. Spread the word about this with families who you know will greatly benefit it.
