1. Primary Purpose
Oversee the administration of Bayer Foundation India (BFI) in consultation with Head – CSR South Asia
- Manage the administration of the BFI by way of overseeing accounting, finance, operations.
- Analyse funding status, spends and regularly report the foundation’s financial standing in accordance with regulatory guidelines with the help of internal & external expert support (accounting firm contracted by the foundation, finance consultants).
- Maintain banking relationships, coordinating activities with internal & external auditors, and establishing and maintaining financial systems to verify the integrity of all systems with the help of internal & external experts (accounting firm contracted by the foundation, finance consultants).
- Maintain the auditability of BFI activities by way of ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and necessary documentation.
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance like RoC filings, income tax filings, FCRA (Foreign Contribution
- Regulation Act) etc compliances with the help of Bayer Group Legal & Secretarial department.
- Oversee and develop management presentations and updates.
- Continuously help improve the administrative processes and standards of governance of BFI by way of reviewing the existing systems, making recommendations for improvement and executing agreed recommendations.
2. Work relations (context – main interfaces – functional report)
- Immediate Supervisor: Head CSR South Asia, Bayer Group
- Interfacing internally with senior managers of Legal & Secretarial, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Internal Audit functions
- Interfacing externally with the accounting firm contracted by BFI, Banks, External Auditors, lawyers, non – profit

- Strong administration of BFI, compliances, smooth audits, regulatory filings, accounting & finance, controlling, reporting
- Timely implementation of the assigned projects & initiatives
- Closer co-ordination between functions involved in the projects / initiatives.
4. Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
10-12 years of domain expertise in in general administration of Corporate Foundations/Trust. Active project planning and execution in sustainability and development sector projects. The person should have understanding and experience of planning, developing and executing projects from need assessment to impact evaluation. The person should be relatively well exposed to project management concepts & processes.
